I have been there with family and friends on numerous occasions and have been very happy with the food, and the atmosphere. The staff and management were pleasant to talk to. In the beginning the menu choices were small, but now they have a full menu and great beer choices. There are not many choices in the Downingtown area so I would highly recommend this place.

Having read some poor reviews just before I was to met a friend at Molly Maguires, I had no great hopes for my visit there. However, the staff very friendly and attentive, I had the fish and chips which was a perfectly cooked piece of cod. My friend had the caesar salad which he said was great. I also enjoyed the Victory brew especially made for MMs and thought that excellent too. On the whole a most enjoyable lunch.

I literally live 2 blocks from here and will likely NEVER go here again. What a disaster. Went last night and sat down at the bar with only two other people next to me. The bartender made me ask him if I could see a menu and I asked him if we could shut off the hunting channel to put on the Flyers game. He said he would check. He knew none of the food specials and when I said I will have the calamari, he told me 5 minutes later that he didn't realize they were out of calamari. I ordered the fish tacos and 20 minutes later there was no sign of them and in that time I had finished my beer but the bartender never once came over or looked our way. He was too busy talking to the staff who obviously weren't interested in helping their customers either. The one good thing was that when I asked for my tab and told him I wasn't paying for my food....He agreed that I was right and that he would pay for my beer too. The service is terrible and the atmosphere is dreary. Funny thing...My friend and I went to another bar/restaurant right after this experience and saw two other groups of people that were at Molly's. They had also decided to leave this awfuly run establishment. Stay away. Over priced, terrible service and morgue-like atmosphere.

A very nice location for a restaurant but the food served is terrible - had Shepherd's pie that tasted more like they opened a can of Dinty Moore and added a dollop of mashed potatoes. I spoke with a friend who has eaten there twice and said he'd never go back. I wish I spoke to him beforehand. I won't be surprised when the place closes due to the lack of repeat business.

Nothing special here. Irish pub chain with less character the Fados or other similar chains. Open concept and loud with a draft beer selection less than expected for a facility of its size. Food was just ok. Pulled pork tasted very much like it was made with Manwhich sauce. People were nice although service was extremely slow. Parking is a challenge on weekdays.

Took my pop out for his birthday, along with my mother. The place is still under construction and they should not even be open. The prices were very high way too high. We started off with the fired pickles for an appetizer but they brought out the appetizer with the main course and they did take it off the bill. Other than that I ordered a wiz burger came with luke warm cheese sauce on it and a overly cooked and burnt piece of meat they call a hamburger, my dad's burger was burnt and overly cooked as well he just ordered a cheeseburger, my mother had a roast beef sandwich and she said it was dry and no taste. I just had water and my dad had a coke and my mother had a water and a beer and the total bill was $62 bucks forget it never will go back again, and their beer prices are through the roof, oh and parking sucks. For almost near a 100 buck meal at a chain Molly Ripoffs I should have taken him to Pepperoncini Restaurant & Bar in Conshohocken great food and not as expensive. Price at Molly's would have not been an issue if the food was great.
