Great pub for dinner and drinks with friends. Service is excellent and friendly. Found this place by accident when the restaurants close by were to crowded. It was a great find.

In Philly for 1 night, first time touring the city. Saw Fergie's Pub and had to go (being a Fergie myself) dire need of good brew and decent food. Awesome beer, great atmosphere and damn if they didnt have seared tuna, wasabi mash and asian slaw for a special. My daughter and I both wanted seared tuna and got lucky it was on special here! We were both in awe, absolutely the best seared tuna and sides we have had anywhere! It was freaking absolutely AWESOME!! Better than fancy restaurants or even asian places. Bartend turned me on to some great new beers and had the best time! Only thing missing were T-shirts for sale:( If I could ever get a hold of a Fergie's Pub Philly T-shirt that would be totally awesome! Thanks Fergie for a great Philly Pub!!!! If you ever get more shirts, I will pay for shipping to NC!!

I can't recommend Fergie's enough - they are amazing. Short story: my first time going to Philly a few years ago for business I got there late on a Sunday night and wanted dinner/drinks and I didn't know my way around town; so I wandered around from my hotel. I see this tiny little free-standing bar that had a good size crowd that was all dressed to the 9's. I didn't know what the occasion was, but it looked like fun so I went in and ordered a drink. Within a minute or two the owner came over and said something along the lines of: O:"We're actually closed for a private event tonight." Me: "Sorry, I'm not from around here and wasn't aware." O: "Well a good friend of the bar died and this is their wake. Where're you from? Seattle? Well you're family tonight, drink up." I sat there for hours drinking, getting to know everyone (who were all super awesome to me), and wasn't charged a dime. Needless to say, I appreciated so much the way that I was treated like family instead of a dollar; that I spent my entire per diem (and tipped well) there every night on every trip for food/drinks. I wanted to really wanted to vote with my wallet and think him for the way I was welcomed. Even if I did inadvertently crash a funeral/wake...

Stopped in because the web promised "no TV" and live music. Both were true. Traditional Irish acoustic downstairs and rock and comedy upstairs. Both were great. Food was good. Wound up chatting with Fergie, the owner. Glad I stopped in. This is my idea of what a neighborhood pub should be!

I was in Philly for a gig at the convention center and was looking for a pub where I could grab a bite and a good craft brew. This spot is a gem. Fergie, the owner, is very approachable and made me feel right at home away from home. Food was surprising. The hot roast beef was likely the best prime rib dip I have ever had. Everything was fresh. The next time I am in Philly this is my first stop. Avoid all the jock pubs and walk an extra block. Perfect vibe. Especially for anyone who wants an Irish pub. Stellar. Thank you.
