Simple and minimalist decor, fairly spacious and peaceful family run restaurant. However I have to say that the food is slightly disappointing. Quality ingredients but the bowl is just warm whilst traditionally bibimbap are served in hot stone bowls. We find it a bit pricey for what it is.

Good food - used to be one our favourite spots until one unfortunate evening where my wife and I received some pretty bad service. First, my order came 10 minutes before my wife's while a woman behind us ordered the same dish as my wife and received it at the same time as mine, despite ordering it 10 minutes after us (obviously a mix-up). when it finally arrived, they picked us up and moved us inexplicably to another table while I was in the middle of chewing. The final straw was that my meal was half the size as it normally was. 3 strikes. It is good food, I think I just happened to be there when everything went a bit sideways. I'll give the place a break and try again - maybe next year.

Great restaurant Lovely little family place, great food with good portions for the price. They don't sell alcohol but are very happy for you to bring in what you want without charging corkage, the wine merchants just down the road is perfect if you forget to bring a bottle. A real gem of a place, we go there most Fridays and it's never let us down.

Despite the somewhat austere interior (though the handsewn placemats are a nice touch), Bibimbap House provides a wonderful dining experience. There aren't many options on the menu, but the namesake dish is the reason you are there. The bibimbap, served in hot stone bowls, is fresh, delicious and reasonably priced at around £8. Service is usually fine, often cheerful.

Dangerously good Korean food here, fortunately reasonably priced. I'm a sucker for simple menus, especially like the selection at Bibimbap House where there are few options and they're all foods prepared with skill and passion. The main dishes are served in (very hot!) earthenware bowls and brought out on a tray with soup and two side dishes which vary and add to the meal in an interesting way. This dynamic, of consistently amazing main dishes with the addition of fun new flavours and textures in the side dishes works well. Being family run, the atmosphere and service feels very intimate and friendly to the point of absurdity. I really wish I hadn't written this review now as I've become incredibly hungry just thinking about it. Be warned that this may be a pandora's box of deliciousness.

Nice tasty food with friendly service. Only down side is lack of choose. No licence so no alcohol served.
