Sunshine, blue skies and a well conditioned course. A recipe for Sunday afternoon happiness. Dad tees off on the 205 yard par 3 second at Chilworth GC .

Glorious blue skies over Chilworth golf course for the seniors and ladies Easter competition yesterday. Sizing up the par 3 second hole, usually 200+ yards but playing 185 off the winter mats.

What happens when you hit a 3 wood 250 yards plus to be pin high? This happens. Golf is a cruel game.

Didn't need the putter after this unexpected #eagle at the par 4 13th at Chilworth GC. 25 degree hybrid did the job from 175 yards out. Pink balls rule ok!

Just been playing the attractive and interesting Henry Cotton designed 18 hole par 3 course at Ampfield, Hampshire. Crisp, cold day. Great way to brush up on the mid and short game!

At last. Normal service has been resumed. Carded a half decent round in the mid 80s yesterday after months of struggling with my game. Just hope I can hang on to whatever it was that helped me turn the corner.
