As a fellow phone/tablet/computer repair shop owner, I recommend the folks over at Fixit Tech Suite for all those in need of repair in Metairie, louisiana. Nice owners, friendly customer service reps, and clean retail space. Its a pleasure recommending our customers that don't feel like traveling to myPhoneMD in the Garden District. Cheers

I cracked my iPhone 6 screen last Monday and decided that I'd bring it to the Apple store. The store was jam packed and couldn't fit me in, so I had to schedule an appointment to for Thursday. On Thursday I went back to the Apple store on my lunch break and they were just as packed as before. The guy in the front checked me in and sat me down at the table in the front, where I wait for nearly an hour before I have to go back to work. On the way home from work, I saw a sign for Fixit iPhone Repair, so decided to try them out instead. They don't require an appointment and don't charge anything until after your phone is fixed, which is nice. I was able to drop off my phone, run a couple errands, and pick it up about 2 hours later. My phone looks like new and their prices are very reasonable. I will be recommending Fixit to my friends.

My wife's iPhone was erratically charging. I called the Apple store in Lakeside Mall. We were advised to make an appointment in one week to have the problem evaluated. We went to "Fix It" phone repair. We walked in without an appointment. The tech looked at the phone and blew out the lint in the charging receptacle. NO CHARGE. The phone has been charging perfectly for the last month.

Quick friendly. Had front glass replaced on my iPhone. No problems. Ate lunch next door while work was done. Pretty painless for getting my phone fixed.

Have replaced my iPhone battery and then returned with a friend's phone for repairs. Both done same day, which was unexpected. Later they worked in my iMac. Love this place.

I dropped my phone and cracked the entire face-plate, they repaired it the same day in under an hour. Incredible service.

Took my iPhone here because the power button stopped working. They did a good job of fixing the power button. This is where the nightmare begins. Upon receiving my "fixed" phone the tech told me I needed to go home and restore it. OK. Got home, tried to restore it and kept getting an error message saying "this iPhone can not be restored". Brought it back to FixIt where they told me my phone was locked up and attributed it to a "hardware problem". I asked for my money back but was told I wouldn't receive a full refund because of a "diagnostic fee". A diagnostic fee? I came in and told YOU what the problem was! There was no diagnosing. Anyways, turns out they turned my phone into a useless brick. Had to buy a brand new phone thanks to these guys. BEWARE.

Fixit received the phone while it was in restore mode so we were not able to test any of the device's functions. The customer simply wanted a power button replacement since it was not working. We did this and then returned his phone within reasonable time and let him know his phone was still in restore mode (as we had received it) and he would need to bring it home and update it. When the customer returned to Fixit the next day it turned out that the phone had previously been jailbroken and this is why it was stuck in restore mode (you cannot update it through itunes when it is jailbroken). We do not work on jailbroken phones and offered him a refund minus the diagnostic fee (while still keeping his FIXED power button) just to be nice. We believe this was a nice gesture to his situation and we certainly did not jailbreak his phone or cause it to become stuck in restore mode as that is how we received it.

These are the only people I trust with my computer. Totally honest and cheaper than everyone else. I'll go out of my way and give them business whenever I can.
