I have just emerged from my bed after freezing half to death last night. But hey, I got to watch the London fireworks live and for free. And I met some lovely girls. :)

Once, I was home alone, and I called up a friend to go for a drive at midnight. We drove to the next big town, got caught in a snowstorm and had McDonalds. It was a good night.

So I do, but apparently humans need to lay unconscious for a couple of hours every day.

So,... I moved. Then I went to the Tower of London Remembers memorial, and we had a house party. :) Now I just need a job -_-

Hello guys, (slight spoilers ahead, but no major plot points. Q&A section NO SPOILERS)

I am just back from the Doctor Who premiere in London and the following Q&A. The episode, which most of you will have seen by now, was lovely. I especially enjoyed the return of all the side-characters, such as Jenny, Strax and Madame Vastra. The Intro by Strax "blogging" about all the past Doctors had the whole cinema in stitches.

The Q&A was also a merry affair, no tough questions save for one fearless little girl age 5, by the name of Martha Rose. She asked Moffat why there were new doctors, but no new monsters in recent Doctor Who. Moffat stumbled over his words a bit, and finally replied, that fan-favourite monsters were simply requested to return by the fans. He also stated that new monsters were better than old monsters, but the best old monsters were better than new monsters.
Peter Capaldi also faced a tough question, when asked who he would pick as a companion out of all of Doctor Who and beyond. With Clara next to him, the Doctor picked his real-life wife.

I had a blast at the cinema, and due to my second row seat, I was able to catch part of the intro obstruction free on film. I only stood up when everybody around me did, so I didn't catch the part where they rose out of the floor.

I stumbled upon a festival in Lamberth today. Really, de advertised it as a Country Fair, but there was music, performances, roller coasters and much more. It was massive. I even watched a knight tournament. One of the knights earned a very... progressive prize. :) It only started to rain when I was on the bus home. Lucky ;)

I found this explanation on a russian website. Why do people never add their sources:

Piano House (Huainan, China)
In recent years, more unusual architectural projects appear in China. The House in the form of piano and violin leaning against it was built in 2007 and has since been considered the main attraction of Huainan. On the stairs, located in a glass "violin", visitors ascend to the exhibition hall inside the "piano".

Got 100 steps to go, tonight I'll make it 99.
Introduction
Hello everybody who found their way to this page.

I got into the Google+ Beta by chance (you know how it is: the friend of a friend knew a friend that had connections to this one guy getting an invite.) and have been hooked ever since. I watched it become the second reddit, then a Photographers Portal and a Musicians Hangout and now it is all of it and so much more. I just love it.

Which circle do I belong in?

I share interesting stuff I come across on the internet, insight on my research in the field of Japan and all the other stuff I feel somebody would find interesting. Most of the time, it is funny and/or geeky stuff. And I share stories about my life in Japan or my new life in London.

I love to look at good photography, my own skill level is sadly somewhere between noob with a digital camera and what ins god's name was she thinking, but I am always open for critique and suggestions. I love to see geeky stuff, humor, anime and manga related things, Japan related things and all that.

Also, I sing, write short stories and love to play adventure games. But this is all more of a normal hobby, I guess.
