Thanks so much for posting this! I ran a $20 (total) 'link' ad driving traffic to a tiny little e-book vendor inside India for a free ebook download (first in series free), just to test out the market. I expected maybe a bit of activity and perhaps 5-10 new page likes. It was just a test, to see if there was a sufficient English-language market inside India for my books before I invested any time or money promoting there. My author/book page lit up like a Christmas tree, and at the end of 3 days I had hundreds of likes and a few shares. When I went to the tiny little ebook vendor, though, I had 65,500 downloads of that free ebook! Wow! I was so psyched. Even if only 1% of those people actually read the book and liked it enough to buy the second book in the series (which is also available on that tiny platform) it would be a win-win situation for both me and the vendor. Alas ... I got one conversion out of 65,500 downloads (my conversion rate is usually MUCH higher).
