Write a Free Verse About The Little Miami River

Free Verse is a form of poetry that is written however the writers like. It can be short or long, it can rhyme or not, and the poet is free to invent the format. Some feel that this form of poetry is the hardest because it takes more thought whereas others think it is the easiest, because it can be whatever they decide. So give it a try and post your Free Verse below.

Mandy Wolski of the Little Miami Conservancy shared her poem...........

Floating down the river's edge
                 I see a bottle
Hanging from the river's trees
                 I see a bag
Stuck to the river's bottom
                 I see a tire
A kind soul cleans the river
                  I see beauty
                                   - Mandy Wolski
