I have been involved in Public Policy issues since the late Dave Kret
(former Majority Leader - Arizona Senate), Ted Kraver, Bobbie Kraver and
I, in the 1970's, travelled the state of Arizona conducting seminars on
effective Legislative advocacy for parents, teachers and other
supporters of Special Ed for Gifted Children.
Protections for anonymous speech are vital to democratic discourse. Allowing dissenters to shield their identities frees them to express critical, minority views . . . Anonymity is a shield from the tyranny of the majority. . . . It thus exemplifies the purpose behind the Bill of Rights, and of the First Amendment in particular: to protect unpopular individuals from retaliation . . . at the hand of an intolerant society.

Chemo does strange things - like take away a full head of hair and a full beard. They should both start growing back in late January, 2012 (BTW, we "Bar-B-Qued the tumor, and there is not longer any sign of it). YAY!
