Many thanks of "ECHIQUIER" International Collective of Photographers, in this July, I had fortunately a great opportunity at La Biennale 2017 in Paris, France, with sixteen countries represented, more than 450 photos (→including my 5 photos) spread over the city, nine exhibitions in seven different locations. And, it was highly successful with over 1500 visitors.

Check out the press articles and see photos of this Biennale on the Facebook page of the Collective Echiquier. https://lnkd.in/gAV-dTq

Please make me announce that recently I have decided to take part in a program "Works in Residence" the international art exhibitions with RossoCinabro Gallery in Rome, Italy.

This is a collaboration to exhibit some works in RossoCinabro gallery in Rome for several months, who was reported among the 10 best contemporary art galleries in Rome. To participate in this program from their exhibits of group shows scheduled in August, I'm now preparing to ship my 2 works to this gallery, which have been already selected by them.

[Gallery Story]
Just like the intense shade of red it takes its name from, Rosso Cinabro represents an extraordinary passion for art. Thanks to the guidance of its director Cristina Madini, over the years Rosso Cinabro has become a flower – albeit still somewhat niche – in the direct vicinity of the beautiful Villa Borghese. Opened in 2009, RossoCinabro is committed to making art accessible. The gallery has organised over 100 exhibitions in the past four years, from solo shows of interesting artists from abroad to collective exhibitions of 22up-and-coming local creatives.

Leave for two weeks of exposure

The opening of the 2nd International Biennial of Photography was a great success. The world crowded Saturday at the end of the afternoon in the church of the Augustinians on this occasion. An event that is gaining momentum since 9 exhibitions are to be seen in the city (Augustins, the vaulted room, the bandstand, the garden of the Atelier Blanc, in the window of the Folle Avoine, on the facade From the town hall to the CFM studio ...), bringing together 72 photographers from 34 countries. An event called "considerable" by Serge Roques, mayor of the city, and welcomed by all the elected representatives who emphasized the importance of culture for the attractiveness of the western territory Aveyron. He was also warmly thanked for the involvement of the members of the collective chessboard and Paroles vives.
Note: the Jean-Luc Bony of Sébazac-Concourès awarded the jury prize for the "Paroles vives" competition in Rouergue or Quercy. The exhibitions are open daily, from 10 am to 12 noon and from 2 pm to 7 pm. Nocturne on 14 and 18 July until 10 pm.
Day continues on Thursdays and Saturdays from 10 am to 7 pm (free admission).

Stop on picture this Sunday

It is by ten that will count the photographers who will flock in the bastide, from July 9 to 23, at the initiative of Paroles vives, for the second biennial of the photo.
Villefranche is not Arles and its meetings of photographs crossing the years nor Perpignan where every early September photojournalism snaps in the Catalan city. But at its modest level, the association Paroles vives brings its stone to the edifice of the image. Thus, during two big weeks, nearly a hundred photographers will install their works in different points of the city.
As the president of Paroles Vives, Jean Baro, reminds us: "The biennial is expanding, and thanks to the network of the photographers collective of the Exchequer, we are today on an international recruitment." , The nave of the Augustinians will be the focal point of this biennial thanks to the presence of thirty-two photographers, from 16 different countries. But they will not be alone, and thirty-one others will show their works under the rostrum thanks to the involvement of the Italian association Welcome in passion forto. Everywhere, or almost, the city will be photo. Whether it is vaulted hall with an exhibition of Chinese, French, Irish, Polish, Thai, and Swiss photographers who will present an important work around the "artistic nude".
On the façade of the town hall, sixteen giant tarps will be hung. It will be the same around the kiosk of Saint John and in the gardens of the Atelier Blanc. In addition, there will be nude photography courses directed by the Swiss photographer Martin Zurmühle. The same will host lectures. And way of orienting more towards the exterior, Sunday 16 July, is provided a scholarship of used equipment photo, cinema, sound and postcards ...
The church of the Augustins will be the focal point of the exhibitions of this biennale./Photo DDM
