Accredited Business undergo and extensive screening process by BBB staff prior to becoming Accredited. Accredited Businesses also contractually agree to abide by BBB's Standards of Trust and Code of Advertising. Accredited Businesses that do not abide by our Standards' of Trust or Code of Advertising may have their BBB accreditation revoked. A company cannot become accredited if they have outstanding government actions against them. BBB will report on these matters for 3 years on a company's BBB Business Review. Factors like complaint history (over past 3 years) as well as BBB investigations, advertising review, and government actions affect a businesses BBB rating. However, we do not continue to report on the matters after they have been closed for 3 years. We also do not report on civil law suits.
