"Only those who dare to fail greatly can ever achieve greatly." -Robert F. Kennedy I have failed greatly. This has allowed me to learn. To grow. To see what went wrong and not repeat those mistakes but instead learn new ways of doing things. Because I've failed greatly, I have also been able to achieve greatly. Don't be afraid to have massive, epic failures. To fail greatly. To crash and burn. Those experiences teach you so much. They eventually allow you to achieve greatly. So go on, keep failing greatly - because the next awesome achievement is right around the corner. #failure #success #leadership #achieve

"We'd achieve more if we chased our dreams instead of our competition." -Simon Sinek Sometimes in our business and our life we get so focused on what others are doing. We get obsessed with our competition - so much so that we lose our own edge, our own focus. Although in business, knowing what our competitors are doing is important, it's not everything. What would happen if instead of focusing your energy on your competitors, you instead focused on your own dreams - crushing your own goals? Try it and see what happens. #goals #success #leadership

BE EPIC "If you want success, be brave, be epic and do not be afraid to fail." -Amy Cosper, Editor in Chief - Entrepreneur Successful people are brave. They are not afraid to fail. They take risks. They try things that have never been done. They see the "what if" as an opportunity, a challenge. They learn from their failure. They grow. They try again. They continue to move forward no matter what. I want to be EPIC in my life and work. How about you? Are you being epic and brave in your life and business? If not, what's holding you back? #beepic #leadership #success #failure

Some great reminders here. A few of my faves: Invest in yourself. Leverage your strengths. Never stop taking risks. And learn to laugh at yourself. #success #leadership #oprah #lifethriver http://buff.ly/2pJ8UDb…/what-working-for-oprah-taught-me-abou… http://buff.ly/2pIZbgv

To become the person you are destined to be, you have to let go of those things that are weighing you down - whether it's a relationship gone wrong, a negative nelly that is still in your life or your own inner bully. Let go of the negative. Let go of those things that are weighing you down. Only then can you truly soar. #lettinggo #soar

A great testament from a Navy Seal about leadership and mental toughness. Life isn't always easy. But no matter what, we must keep going. We must dig deep. We must NEVER give up. We must grit up, not give up. "No matter what you're trying to do, motivation has to come from inside you. You have to look inside yourself. You have to keep going no matter how hard it gets. That's what successful people do. They may have doubts, but they keep going." #resilience #gritup #nevergiveup #persistence #leadership

Successful leaders know that they must continue to learn. And make the time to read, reflect and experiment. A great article about carving out at least 5 hours a week to do just that. Do you make the time each week to read? To learn new things? To have quiet time to reflect and recharge? If not, what's holding you back from doing so? http://buff.ly/2k7sLN0…/bill-gates-warren-buffett-and-oprah-al…

Some tips for avoiding burnout: *Don't be the source of your stress. *Know your limitations.... *Breathe. Deep breaths when you feel the anxiety coming on. *Re-evaluate your perspective of the situation. *Deescalate conflicts by putting yourself in the other person's shoes. And most of all, be gentle and kind on yourself. Be patient. Give yourself the grace you need.
