Introduction
Carnegie Mellon University - SCS - 2013.

Undergraduate Researcher in the Machine Learning Department.

I am active in machine learning research; currently, I work in natural language processing. I spend a good deal of my time writing code, developing, evaluating and implementing different feature selection and reduction algorithms, and evaluating learning algorithms, trained from these reduced feature spaces.

I hope to apply machine learning techniques to as many interesting areas as possible. Language holds a special place in my intellectual soul and I ultimately want to use my experience in language to branch out.

For fun, I absolutely love to ride my bike. Speed, independence, freedom, being in my environment, rather then surrounded by metal and plastic -- I love everything about cycling.

When I'm not cycling, I will hopefully be digesting music. I agree with Nietzsche when he says that, "Without music, life would be an error." If machine learning and computer science hold the key to my intellectual soul, then music definitely has dibs on my heart. In fact, my love for music spread from appreciation: I also play the electric bass. So if I'm not listening to music, I'm probably makin' some =D
