I love this center and the instructors. They made me feel very comfortable. The exercises were not so hard that I felt discouraged, but not so easy that I felt like I wasn't doing anything. It was a nice, balanced workout. I felt very relaxed, centered and re-energized at the end and I continue to feel that way consistently after every class. Very warm atmosphere. I would recommend this to anyone looking for something deeper than just a gym yoga experience.
I have been practicing there method of yoga for 14 years and it have changed me and my life for the best. I have visited the New City Center a few times for special events and have to say it is a very warm and friendly environment. The people really care. If you are local I would recommend giving it a try.
I visited this place before. They teach the yoga, breathing, meditation and ki kong (Tai chi) I loved cencept of their practice. Healing myself, healing family, healing society. I really recommend for everybody .
Gorgeous and spacious training room, kind and loving instructors, delicious tea after class -- the perfect ingredients for a wonderful yoga workout! I recommend checking out the special classes and workshops to help you take it to the next level of healing.
Wonderful place, I've tried many other yogas but this is the first place where I could feel my body start to relax and heal. I have more energy, my breathing used to be shallow and I can breathe better. I used to have a lot of neck pain and that is also going away. They focus on energy (ki) which makes a difference. The instructors are very caring and helpful. I highly recommend New City Yoga and Tai Chi!
Started classes at the harbors, signed up for another set of classes in New City and I have to say it really has helped me to be aware of my body, reconnect with my spiritual side and overall just have more and better energy. I feel great and energized and renewed. I let go all of my stress and tension and start the workweek in a positive way. I started taking classes with my mom and just got my sister to join too!
I have been a member at the New City Yoga Center for 2 years now. I feel really great taking the classes. The classes have helped me to manage my stress and calm down alot and also the movement has helped by body alot. I don't have as much pain as I used to have in the past. I will continue to come to class on a regular basis at least 2 times a week. Thank you
