A couple of new covers that I've done for books that are being released shortly.

Good to the Last Drop by Declan Finn is out today! It's the conclusion to his Live and Let Bite series.

Tales of the Once and Future King is being released in September by Superversive Press.

I got the chance to watch John Wick 2, because being ill just doesn't allow for too many other options.

I thought 2 was a far better movie than 1.

The beginning started off with a bang.

No puppies were killed.

Reeves didn't have many lines.

No puppies were killed.

The plot was well defined. There was no question as to what was going on.

I loved some of the interesting throwbacks to old technology. The phone switchboard, the rotary telephones, the rules of etiquette.

Eight years after Z-Day, the surviving remnants of mankind face the unknown. The fences and walls kept the ravenous undead at bay until they wasted away. A once overwhelming foe has turned feeble and weak, and a world gone wild seems ripe for reclamation. The scars of the long war run deep. And hope is a dangerous thing when the real enemy might just be the survivors themselves.

Buy A Place Outside The Wild at Amazon in print or ebook.

I occasionally like to play around with video to give me a break from all of the other things that I do. Plus, it's kinda fun. The music is by Gregorian. I listened to A LOT of Gregorian chant while I was writing Path of Angels.

I hope you like the video.

The project that I'm working on with three time Dragon Award Finalist, Declan Finn, has begun. The working title of Dark Court has been scrapped. I never liked that title anyway.

The new title is The Ri: Changlings

It's the beginning, I hope, of a YA Irish urban fantasy series set in New York City. We are roughtly 16Kwords in with about 65K or so to go. I have a feeling that this is going to end up far longer than planned. The goal is to have the first draft finished before Dragon Con.

The idea of Vatican Ninjas has been around for at least 25 years, if not longer. The first time I heard about them was when TMNT became popular in the early 1990s. Everything was ninja this and ninja that.

Ninjas make their rounds every so often. And it's not surprising at all that they would infiltrate the Vatican. Of course there is the nitpicky issue that ninjas follow Eastern religions and have practices not at all compatible with Catholicism or Christianity.

This week the finalists and ballot were released for the Dragon Awards which will be awarded at Dragon Con at the end of this month.

I am not on the list. Not surprising since I didn't put any effort into rounding up fans to nominate it. I have other projects down the road that I would like a Dragon Award for instead.

There are several authors I know or recognize on the list, but still haven't had time to get many books finished.

Thousands have checked into the Infinity Hotel over the years. None of them have ever checked out.

Peter Childress and Charlie Womack are successful engineers on their way to Phoenix for an important presentation. But one of Charlie’s infamous “shortcuts” has gotten them good and lost once again. As night falls, the pair stumble across the Infinity Hotel and the promise of a meal, fuel and a good night’s sleep before starting off fresh in the morning is too good to pass up.
