http://toolorg.com/chevrolet-gmc-tool-storage/ - Here is an tool storage project completed for a Chevrolet GMC dealer in Baird, Texas by Tool Org's own A-Team, Woody and Dawn.

00:00 We're just wrapping up here at Hanner Chevrolet GMC. This is 2017. We organized this dealership back in 2012. We came back to do a re-do here.

See the previous organization video here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=o7RcUc5ceEY

00:14 They had fifteen existing panels when I arrived here, and they expanded their room to twice the size it used to be. There used to be a wall right there where you see that beam. So, we had panels on this wall, and we had panels on this opposing wall.

00:31 So, when we got here we constructed another wall for them so we could put all the panels on one wall, and then, we moved the panels around and re-spaced them and this is how it turned out.

00:45 There's twenty-five panels here. They've got five panels for growth and then they added on two more shelves to their system and then they also added on, this new feature, that Tool Organization is offering...this tote rack.

00:59 And we made them up transmission boxes, and we labeled them. And, they are in this nice rack now.

01:12 This shows you their shelves and their kits. They are labeled. This one is with fixtures. This shows you going down the other way

01:21 Now, they are going to use all this wall space for equipment. They are bringing in all their equipment also.

01:30 This is how the organization turned out. This is a twenty-five panel system now, and it has all the essential and recommended tools hanging on their panels.

01:42 With that, I'm going to thank Tool Organization for the job. We're going to thank God for his help as always.

01:50 It was nice seeing the guys again. We seen Chris, and Clutch, and John...the guys we worked for before when we were here. Great group of guys.

02:05 We also hung up their dog tags and put up their guys names that they had. It's a smaller shop, so they don't have that many, but that's how it turned out.

Here is an tool organization project completed for a General Motors dealer in Daphne, AL by Tool Org's own A-Team, Woody and Dawn.

00:00 We're just wrapping up here at Terry Thompson Chevrolet, and we are in Daphne, Alabama. They built this little room over here and this is where we put their tool room in.

00:15 This is a sixteen panel job. Panels were setup on twelve inch centers. Everything in this tool room is in a numerical sequence, from lowest to highest. That's how the whole tool system works. You don't think about the alpha, the "J", the "DT" or "G" or any of that, you just think about the number. And everything is in that number sequence. From lowest to highest.

00:37 This shows you that we mounted five panels over here. We had to mount 2 x 6's to the drywall and paint them and that's how that turned out. You can see back there, it looks real nice. Because this was a finished room when we got here.

00:50 We put little bumpers on the walls for the boards so they don't damage the drywall. This shows you the recommended tools. They had this shelf when we got here, and we pulled all their tools out of it and we inventoried everything and then we re-purposed that shelf and re-used their totes for recommended tools. They are all broke down by numbers as you can see.

01:16 This shows you what one of the panels look like. We've got spacer brackets on top to keep everything at a twelve inch distance. We use these nice baskets for these assembly tools. There shows you going down the other way.

01:34 This is a small room, but we made it happen. Then we have three shelves in this room and we have all their kits on these shelves. We have everything labeled. We also made them up transmission boxes, so all the transmission tools for these particular transmissions are in these kits. So, when they come to do that they don't have to gather up a bunch of different components, they just grab that box that has all the components in there and go do their transmission.

02:01 We also have them setup with the dog-tag system here. Shows you their dog tags. They are labeled, so, when you come in to get a set tool, you take one of these dog tags - whatever the guys number is and put it where the tool is that he needs. When you return it, you put the dog tag back.

02:20 Ok. With that, I have one more area here. We worked with Charlie over here and Jason. Both of them are...I met Terry Thompson, the owner... all three guys were very nice, very helpful.

02:35 Back in here, we have their non-current tools broke down by numbers. Our recommendation is, when we finish here, that the customer goes through these tools, and if they see anything that they are still using in these boxes, to pull it out. If not, at that point and time, our recommendation is to discard them.

02:56 This shows you two more shelves that we built back here for them. We have their heavy fixtures and their electrical connectors on them. Eventually, this will be moved up closer to that room. But, right now, this is where they had us set it up.

03:11 Ok. With that, we're going to thank Tool Org. for the job. We're going to thank God for His help as always.

03:19 Once again, if you need to have your tool system done, you should look on the web for "Tool Organization Services" and them are the people you contact. Even if you need just a consultation, that would be who you contact. They'll direct you on what's going to be best for your particular situation.

http://toolorg.com/tool-room-organization-volkswagen/ - Tool Room Organization Volkswagen Mercedes-Benz

Here is an tool room organization project completed for a Mercedes-Benz/Volkswagen dealer in El Paso, Texas by Tool Org's own A-Team, Woody and Dawn.

00:00 Ok, we're just wrapping up here at Hoy Mercedes-Benz & Volkswagen of El Paso. So, this is how it turned out.

00:11 This was sixteen panels and two pieces of wall-mount for the Mercedes-Benz. Shows you going down through there. Shows you what the panels look like. These panels are on twelve inch centers.

00:23 We mounted two pieces of wall-mount down here. We hung their fixtures up there. We also put their dog tags up there. This last panel, we labeled it and we put their cables on it.

00:41 We built them this little mobile cart and we put this big monster fixture on here that's always a pain in the butt to get around.

00:48 Over here we have Mercedes-Benz optional cables and they are broke down by numbers.

00:56 And then, over here, we have Volkswagen. We used ten panels for Volkswagen, three shelves...three in a half shelves, the same as we used for Mercedes-Benz. It shows you their shelves. We have all their kits labeled with descriptions and they are pretty much in a numerical sequence - the best we can do anyways.

01:18 Then we utilize this shelf here for their fixtures. We also...this rack was here when we got here, so we just re-used it, cleaned it up and put a piece of peg board back there. And we hung up some of the components for their engine stand.

01:41 We hung this big target fixture up down here. Built them this other half shelf, so they have a little table in here. And these would be the recommended tools for Volkswagen, and they are broke down by numbers.

01:56 This shows you their dog tag system. What we do is, we label them and then we'll setup numbers for each one of their technicians. We have this setup over here for Volkswagen and then we have the same thing setup in Mercedes-Benz area.

02:10 Ok, with that, we worked with Willie and Adrian. Some great guys to work with. Just a great group of guys in here. So, this is how their tool room turned out. We're in El Paso, Texas...this shows you their dog tags over there that I mentioned for Mercedes-Benz.

02:30 Let's see...is there anything else? I don't think so. We're going to thank God for His help as always, and if you need your tool room organized, these are the people you contact. Even if you need a consultation, they can direct what is going to be best for you. And, uh...that's free! It's free to call them. Free to ask questions. It's even free to get a layout if you want the panel system.

http://toolorg.com/special-tool-organization-systems/ - Here is an special tool organization systems project completed for a Mercedes-Benz dealer in Delray Beach, Florida by Tool Org's own A-Team, Woody and Dawn.

00:00 Ok, we're just wrapping up here at Mercedes-Benz of Delray Beach. We are in Delray Beach, Florida.

00:09 This was a re-do job. We put up a bunch of wall-mount here as you. As you can see, we put three pieces of wall-mount running horizontally on this wall, and we hung up fixtures up on that.

00:23 We tore their tool system down. Is was on fourteen inch centers. We fixed the walls, re-painted everything and put the steel back up with new steel on twelve inch centers and added in seven new panels.

00:36 So, this shows you what it turned out like. They have a full tool system, but they do have room to grow inside of it. Merecedes-Benz grows in the system not on the end of the system.

00:48 We left them room inside of the tool system to add new tools. This shows you what a panel looks like. You can see there is a lot of room in there to add tools. Like I said, these panels are on twelve inch centers.

01:13 Down here we hung up their test harnesses, we put up all their required test cables, and we also hung up a section back here for their dog tags. They are going to label these and each technician is going to get a set of dog tags.

01:31 This shows you the shelves. They added on three new shelves also. They have all of their kits labeled, their shelves are labeled. Their kits are labeled.

01:46 Stuff on their wall-mounts labeled.

01:54 Over here, in these grey boxes we have their optional test harnesses broken down by numbers.

02:02 Ok. With that, we worked for Selwin over here and Bob Baldwin. This is an Auto Nation store and this was a re-do, but we think it turned out real nice.

02:15 And with that, we're going to thank Tool Org. for the job and God, for His help as always.

02:20 And if you need to have your tool room organized, these are the people to contact (see contact info below). Here's the phone number, here's the website. Even if you need consultation on your tool room, then they are the people to contact.

Tool Organization Systems - 888.245.0050 - Mercedes-Benz Special Tool Organization

http://toolorg.com/essential-tool-storage/ - Here is an essential tool storage project completed for a new Mercedes Benz dealer in Columbia, South Carolina by Tool Org's own A-Team, Woody and Dawn.

00:00 Ok, we're just wrapping up here at Mercedes Benz of Columbia, South Carolina. This was a ten panel job with three shelves and two pieces of wall-mount. And, this is coming into the tool room.

00:16 This shows you their shelves. We make them up kits. These little totes that we use and we make these up into kits so the guys have multiple tools in here to do that particular job. The timing kit... to do that on the N20. And we made one up here for the N63.

00:37 This shows you their panels. This particular job was mounted to a block wall and the panels were setup twelve inch on center. We also pulled out legacy tools for these guys to give them room in their tools system to grow. If they need any of those tools, they can go into the legacy tools, they pull them out and make a home for them on the panel at that point in time.

01:12 Any tools below two thousand are put in their legacy tools. We also put up essential tools for two thousand ten and up. That gives you the general idea.

01:26 There's two pieces of wall-mount back there. We set them up here with these dog tags. All they have to do is label them. As a guy comes into the tool room to get a tool, he can take the dog tag and put it on where he got the tool, and everybody will know who has that tool. When he returns it, he can place his dog tag back up on the board.

01:46 So, with that, we used this shelf over here for their spring compressors. And, that's about it for the room. We do have the shelves labeled as well.

01:57 Out here, we have legacy tools and legacy cables and they are broke down by numbers. We label them "Legacy Tools" and we break them down by numbers. Let me see if I can get in there to see them... And them would be all their legacy tools.

02:17 Over here is their legacy cables. So, they are going to move them back into their parts room and they'll show up on their Excel spreadsheet that they have them. If they need one, they know where to go find it.

02:30 Ok, with that, we worked for Greg and David over here. We met Tommy. They were a great group to work with. This is a bran new facility just opening up. We're here on Friday, they open on Monday. So, they're tool room is ready to go when they get in here.

02:48 With that, we're going to thank Tool Org. for the job. Once again, if you need your dealership tool room organized these are the people you contact, Tool Organization Services. There is the phone number and the website. They are the people to contact. Regardless of what you need to do in your tool room they are a good company to contact for consultation and to find out the best way to handle it.

http://toolorg.com/buick-gm-tool-storage/ - Buick GM Tool Storage case study at Freehold, New Jersey. Call 888-245-0050 today for your tool room organization.

Here is an auto dealer tool organization systems project completed for a Buick GMC dealer in Freehold, New Jersey by Tool Org's own A-Team, Woody and Dawn.

00:00 Ok, we're just wrapping up here at Freehold Buick GMC and we're in Freehold, New Jersey. This was a fourteen panel job with four shelves and two pieces of wall-mount.

00:17 This shows you their tool system. We actually installed this tool system right in the service bay. This show you. There is where the writers work and write up the work orders.

00:31 This shows you the fourteen panels. This is their tire check machine right here.

00:40 Over here, we have their shelves. We're gonna re-arrange this a little bit and make it out a little better for them. This shows you their shelves. We made these guys up transmission boxes for four transmissions. And I'd like to kind of show you one of them, but...

01:06 This is what it looks like inside the transmission box. This shows you that it is an eight L ninety. We check off all of the tools that they have that we put in this toolbox or in this tote. This shows you that we label the outside of it. We made up four of them for these guys.

01:28 This shows you their shelves. We use these shelves down here for fixtures and we have the recommended tools on this shelf also and their extra supplies.

01:41 Ok, so this shows you the wall mount starting down here and then their panels. These panels are on twelve inch centers. Let me try to get in here and see if I can show you a little bit... So, when you need a tool, you just come with your dog tag...we actually have them setup back here with dog tags. This shows you each technicians name and number and there's his dog tag. When they come to get a tool, he takes his dog tag, goes to the tool that his GM data or Excel spreadsheet told him to go to, gets the tool that he needs, puts his dog tag there. When he brings it back, he hangs his dog tag back up.

02:30 This shows you some of the panels and what they look like. Wherever you see a blank tag, that would be for essential tools and they did not have them. They will be getting them.

02:41 So, with that, we worked with Bill over here...Bill Martin. And, Rocko. They were some great guys to work with and very helpful. And with that, we are going to thank Tool Org. for the job. Again, if you need your tool room done, these are the people you contact. There's the phone number and there's the website. We have a bunch of YouTube videos out there that you can check out...you can check out what it looks like for whatever franchise you have.

03:14 Again, we put this right in the service bay. One more thing and I'll shut this down. These are all the obsolete tools and non-current tools that we've taken out of their system and this is a box that they are going to put out in their shed. With that I'm going to thank Tool Org. for the job and thank God for his help as always, and I'm going to go ahead and shut er' down.

http://toolorg.com/volvo-mack-tool-organization/ - Volvo Mack Truck Tool Organization. Call 888-254-0050.

Here is an auto dealer tool organization systems project completed for a Volvo/Mack dealer in Racine, Wisconsin by Tool Org's own A-Team, Woody and Dawn.

00:00 Ok, we're just wrapping up here at Kriete Vovlo Mack Truck and we're in Racine, Wisconsin. This was a seventeen panel job and they have Volvo, Mack, Hino & Cummins.

00:20 This shows you the panels. It's a little narrow going down through here. So, I apologize. And the room is also dark. They have to get some lights fixed.

00:30 I wanted to give you a video of it to show you what it looked like. Let me see if I can stand back and show you. This shows you their panels. These panels are on fourteen inch centers and they had two pieces of wall mount, that we mounted to the wall.

00:49 It shows you their Volvo. We ended up using seven panels for Volvo. One, two, three, four, five, six, seven... yep! And then, we hung up three Mack. Even though it's Volvo/Mack, the numbers separate out themselves, so, we go ahead and label them like that. Then we used three panels for their Cummins tools, two panels for Hino's and we used their last panel for universal stuff.

01:18 Seal installers...we put their sockets up here. Their axle sockets on this piece. This shows you they have five shelves and we put all their stuff on them and labeled them.

01:36 We used this first shelf for the Volvo/Mack stuff. Next shelf for the Cummins. Then we have a shelf for Universal stuff and, this last shelf we put their test modules on it. We also put their Hino tools and some of their universal stuff here on the bottom.

01:57 We worked for Mike and Ross here. Some great guys to work for and they have a really nice tool room. We think it turned out nice. They like it.

02:09 They are going to use this whole back side for storage of equipment and they are going to setup charging stations along on this little shelf they have right here.

02:19 So, that is what it turned out like. And, with that, I'm going to shut the video down and get down the road.

Volvo Mack Truck Tool Organization - 888.245.0050 - Cummins Hino Tool Storage System

http://toolorg.com/tool-organization-systems/ - Here is an auto dealer tool organization systems project completed for a Chevrolet dealership in Albany, New York by Tool Org's own A-Team, Woody and Dawn.

We're just wrapping up here at Handy Chevrolet at St. Albans, Vermont. This was seventeen panel job with four shelves and they put it up in this mezzanine and it's upstairs.

We had to build a little bit of a wall here, and uh... this shows you what it came out like. There is a before video on this particular dealer if you care to see what it looked like before: https://youtu.be/QpDt5PaZmeE and what it looks like now.

You can see, we mounted 2x6's back there. Then we put, vertically, mounted to the braces and then we put horizontal 2x6's just to put the panels on. This shows you their seventeen panels.

This shows you what they (panels) look like. This shows you how they move. I was at a place last night and they were questioning how they move. If you need to get into a tool, you just move the panel and it will move them all, and you can get in and get your tool.

You can see we mounted them 2x6's back there. This system is setup in numerical sequence. You don't look at the alpha, you just look at the number. And it's lowest to highest. So, when a technician comes up here to find a tool, all he's got to know is his number. Works like a big book. You just find that number, take the tool, and we leave in its place a dog tag. When you come to take this tool, you hang your dog tag up there. That's how it works.

This shows you their four shelves that are labeled one through four. It says what kits are on there. We put this initially on an Excel spreadsheet for GM and then it gets transfered and downloaded to the GM database. This shows you the other way. Kits are all labeled

These blue totes down here have recommended tools. The tools hanging on their boards are essential tools. Other than if it's a tool we know is in use, we'll automatically pull it out and put it up on their tool panel. But, they are broke down by numbers. This shows you what they look like...inside.

The process is all about being efficient in finding the tool you need and being able to retrieve that quickly, and go do the job and put it back where it belongs to increase their efficiency.

This shows you some other shelves. We re-purposed three of their shelves and put some stuff on it that is hardly ever used. There's one down on the end we used for their engine stand.

Ok... with that, we worked for Scott and Dan Handy here was the owner, and also, he was a hands on guy. He'd been up here quite a bit. He likes his new tools system, and they have a little better than a panel in a half for growth. Plus, they have this back wall where they could add on some more panels if necessary.

They still have room to add on two more panels if they run out of room, but they should be good to go for awhile.

So, with that, we're going to thank Tool Org. for the job. We're going to thank God for his help as always.

Again, this is another job finished and completed by Tool Organization Services. This shows you who they are. This shows you the phone number. And, if you have a tool room that's a mess, this is who you contact. And, even if you don't use this system we'll advise you what's the best thing to do.

So, with that, I'm going to do another turn-around and I'm going to shut down.
