So last night, two of my players had to roll a last breath after an AoE attack that hit the whole entourage nearly wiped them and the NPCs out. It was demonic in nature, branding those that it took with it in its dying breath.

My players found themselves faced with the "master" demon as it bartered their souls (lucky partial rolls for both of them!) and ended up that they both agreed to slaughter the queen's council whom they think are corrupt. One of the players' characters is a bleeding heart and is re-thinking her deal now, and this is what she wrote:

"I have been marked. Words engraved into my flesh. I do not know the language, but the meaning is clear: Slaughter. Slaughter the council. The words seep into my brain like poison. I feel sick.

I have killed. I kill evil, I kill oppressors. I kill thoughtfully. I kill to save others. But slaughter. Slaughter is not thoughtful, is not measured. Slaughter is pure bloodlust, a hungry animal. Slaughter does not make allowances; slaughter does not care if one is good, if one has a wife, or children…

Who are these councilmen, who I must slaughter? I cannot bear to know. But I must. I must know them. I must weigh their lives against my own, against the lives of those who will be saved if they are removed from power. It was an easier decision to make when I could just leave, and let the world take its course. To choose by not choosing at all. But now, the decision must be made by my own hands. I cannot run away.

I do not recognize these hands. They are hands that would slaughter. My skull holds a brain that agreed to slaughter. My legs would move my body so that mind could tell my hands to slaughter. I do not know who I am. Or perhaps I know better than ever.

Now I am the one killing innocents. I am the oppressor. I am the one who must be killed to save others. I should be slaughtered. I am evil, and the dark, vicious word on my chest marks me so. I cannot hide.

I was never afraid of demons.

Until I became one."

I now feel accomplished as a GM that my players feel so involved in the story, it has inspired them. ^.^

Hey Ozma! I am tackling my weight problems lately, mostly because I have 4 kids and chasing them is a workout itself! I know the most important thing is for me to stay active and moving, I love music, singing and dancing, so I was looking up dance workout videos and came across you! While I'm not doing belly dancing yet I wanted to comment and tell you how beautifully you explained these movements. I adore you, beautiful! Thank you!

That moment when you can't find what you need so you decide to make your own custom tileset. Again. XD I made the windows, rooms, and wall with some Photoshop magic for my campaign!

I agree.  I started to scan my hand drawn maps in, going over them in Illustrator, and then adding a layer beneath the map to simulate the crosshatch patterns I see in some map backgrounds.  Saves me time and they get the gist.  Not only that I can adjust the file size for use on Roll20.

Creating my first tileset! Works amazing with Roll20 where you can add whatever you want on top of the jigsaw puzzle like squares. I wanted to share. ^.^ Can't wait to use this as my castle in the upcoming session! Would anyone be interested in me uploading these when they are finished?

+Flavius Chis When I made them, Photoshop. I love my photoshop. XD. As for the map, I use Roll20 to put it together but it could be just drag and dropped in any editor really.

I would love to see hard mode dungeons where if your party wipes, the dungeon is over. Actual skill based dungeon running consisting of parties needing to have different survival skills and work together with combos instead of DPSing everything, get downed/die, and try again.
