This is slightly off topic, but I'm interested in how much diet can improve the ability of our bodies healing mechanisms. Is there a way to promote cartilage growth/repair through diet. I'm guessing it may have something to do with zinc.? If there's a better place to post questions, please let me know.

Thanks
Clinton

Largest prospective study on diet and cancer in history finds poultry consumption (less than a half of a chicken breast a day) is associated with a 72% increased risk of pancreatic cancer (http://1.usa.gov/11mfJqX). Even exposure to poultry increases our odds of pancreatic and liver cancer by 9 times.
Cancer-causing viruses in poultry may explain increased risks of death from liver and pancreatic cancers.
