My family has eaten at Maggiano's in Tysons for years. After having kids it has been about a year since we were able to dine there and my husband took our family there on Saturday. The hostess was nice enough. We were seated in a timely manner. We ordered for the kids first and ordered the dinner for two which comes with app and desert to split and 2 classic pastas and then you get two to take home with you. The kids food came first, which I'm always thankful for. Then our food came and it was less than mediocre. I only ate about 1/4 of what was on my pate and so did my husband. The waiter did check on us, but his attitude was less than desirable. After delivering our food we always said thank you and he would just turn and walk away. Any time was asked for anything he acted like it was a huge chore for him to get it. The food was so bad I requested that we not even order a dessert and to have our bill be altered to just pay for what we ate and to take off the two additional dinners to take home. There is no way I would eat that again. He was huffy and ended up just taking off the kids food and said the bill would be that amount, I'm pretty sure he was lying but I was so disgusted with the food and service, I just paid it and left. I will NOT be going back there again! Sad to say but after this last visit, I could have had better food and service at the Olive Garden. Save your time and money and go somewhere else.

My family ate dinner here tonight and it was terrible. We had a 6:45 reservation. We arrived early and they told us we had to wait till 6:45. It was almost 7 before they sat us at our table. The hostess that sat us was extremly rude. She first tried to make my toddler sit in a booster when we clearly stated in our reservation and when we arrived that we needed a highchair. Then she proceeded to take away her silverware. I said she would need that to eat dinner and she said that she couldn't have any because she was ordering off the kids menu. Really? Then for whatever reason and without asking the hostess took away our drink menu. We waited another 10 mins before anyone else came to our table. We didn't have water or a drink order taken. When the server arrived he was nice enough but he was aloof and had no apology for having us sit so long. We ordered drinks and our entrees. He neglected to ask what drink I wanted for my daughter even though it was part of her child's menu and I had to request it. When the food came out the plates were hot but the food was just barely warm. After that we never saw our waiter again. He never came back to check on us and never asked if we needed anything else. The front room that we were sat in was extremely hot and both my husband and I were sweating by the time we left the restaurant. I have dined at Maggiano's before and have never had such a disappointing experience. I will not be going back to this restaurant again.

We are always pleased with the service and the food when we come here and tonight was above par. Linford was our waiter and he really had a nice balance of attention and making it quiet. We really enjoyed our little taste of Italy on the patio.

Good Italian place. The restaurant is expansive and pretty loud - almost a little chaotic. It definitely feels like a chain restaurant, but the food and service are good. My husband and I enjoyed our meals. We finished with the sampler dessert. It came with creme brulee, tiramisu, chocolate cake, cheesecake and apple tart a la mode. For $13 I was expecting petit fours, and much to my surprise each item was a full size dessert. The best items were the tiramisu, cheesecake, and apple tart. Relative to other restaurants in the DC area, this dessert sampler is a really great value. It could easily be shared by 4 people. The one item that was slightly disappointing was the chocolate cake - it was dry and clearly not made in house. Overall, we enjoyed our meal and will definitely go back.

The food is decent, a bit upscale, but overall a nice restaurant.

They forgot to deliver part of the order. when we called to explain they forgot the order, they decided they would have to charge us a $12 delivery fee. It was apparently our fault that we did not double check the order. Furthermore, they told us it would be 2 hours to deliver what they were supposed to deliver in the first place.

It might have been that it was Valentine's Day, but I doubt it. The restaurant was packed with tables, we could barely get to our seat. I've been to other Maggiano's, they were more spacious, romantic, laid-back and relaxed. This place seemed ready to burst. Food was so-so, especially compared to other restaurants in the same brand. The Spin-Art tasted very different, food was obviously sitting a while. Our waitress was good, when she was there. I think it all ties back to it was just too busy. I would go back to Maggiano's, but not this one.

Looking for a good nicer restaurant for a large group never can go wrong with Maggiano's it might stick to the classic but they do the classics right and always have good service and large portions. This location tends to get quite busy on the weekend
