Very cool Google+ related share from +Dustin W. Stout!
Holy Free Visuals Batman!
Google+ logos, icons & templates for all your g+ needs!

Well since it is St. Patricks Day it seemed like a good day to release something a bit ridiculously over-the-top. If I were to give one of the items in this post away every day it would take me 5 weeks to give them all away.

I'm giving away every official Google+ logo, icon and template that I've added to my personal visual content creation arsenal.

Download them here:

Seriously-- I can't even count the hours spent creating all of these. Mostly, because they're for my own personal use and I've just been maintaining them for a while.

And the good news? Because they're things I actually use, that means they'll stay updated over time.

Go go download all my goodies and tell you're designated graphic designer I'm their new best friend.

#HappyStPatricksDay ! Cheers!

Lots of talk lately about Facebook's upcoming changes and what it will mean for pages without advertising budgets. Two things to keep in mind: 1) Creative and compelling content should not be affected. Continue (or start) telling your story in engaging ways that inspire your fans to click, comment and share, and 2) use the buzz as a reminder to review your online presence for balance. Are all your social media "eggs" in the Facebook basket? Are there other ways can you reach and keep in touch with your fans and customers?

I just love the way Glennon Doyle Melton of +Momastery uses humor to talk about the Facebook changes. She avoids the "sky is falling and Facebook is evil" attitude I've seen many businesses use. Instead, her post is down-to-earth and funny -- and on par with the way she always engages with her fans: as if she's chatting with a close friend.

Simply saying "follow us" or "join our email list" is not enough to cut through the social noise these days. You MUST give people a reason to follow or subscribe. Melton's post below is a shining example of how to do just that.

Have you seen any other wonderful ways in which people are building their email list or social media following?

How sweet it would be to earn $250 per hour — as a writer, no less.

Sounds like a crazy dream, right?

It’s kind of like your dream to win America’s Got Talent with your nose whistling routine: Fun to think about, but it ain’t gonna happen.

Well, $250 per hour is the average rate +Linda Formichelli earns for copywriting, content writing, or journalism.

In tomorrow's post, she'll outline a handful of simple habits that have bumped her pay rate much higher than the pay rate of the average freelance writer.

Stay tuned.
