Formed in 1993, the nonprofit National Student Clearinghouse is the nation's trusted source and leading provider of education verifications, electronic education record exchanges, and student outcomes research. We partner with more than 3,600 higher education institutions, which represent over 98 percent of all students in public and private U.S. institutions. The Clearinghouse also provides thousands of high schools and districts with continuing collegiate enrollment, progression, and completion statistics on their alumni.

Through our Research Center, the Clearinghouse provides accurate information and research studies to education leaders on how student pathways are evolving so they can better understand and address their students’ needs and help them achieve successful outcomes.
