We just updated our Transparency Report, showing how many requests Google gets for information about its users. But we're not allowed to give the full story because the U.S. government says that requests under the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act (FISA) must be kept secret. Share this if you believe you have a right to know what our governments are up to.

What do the footsteps of a Centipede  sound like?

This may sound like an insane question at first, but the BBC took a film crew to an anechoic (an: without; echoic: echo) chamber, a triply sound-proofed room that muted all external sound. #sound

Add in some tiny animals and this is what you get...

In our Hangout on Air yesterday, Susan mentioned that AdSense would continue to evolve to help you focus more on your content. As a first step towards that goal, today we’re introducing a new publisher scorecard. You can see how your site compares to other publishers across a number of categories, and review specific suggestions for improvement. Read more on our blog (http://goo.gl/YcW0B), and let us know what you think about this new feature in the comments below!
