The first time if visited the restaurant my son took me there. the service was excellent and the food was very good. I truly enjoyed the atmosphere. I took a friend there Friday night and it was crowded. This did not concern us because I knew we would still be given excellent service. We placed our order and ordered coffee and water. The water informed us that coffee was being brewed so we expected fresh coffee. After waiting over 20min the coffee was served. We received no spoons for sugar and cream It was bitter and my friend's cup was chipped and dirty. The waiter informed us that there was only two coffee cups in the establishment and served her another coffee in a togo cup. That is very hard to believe. We never received our water. The waiter did not apologize at all for the delay and we were willing to wait because the food there is good. But he continued to walk pass us without acknowledging us in any way. After sitting there for over an hour, we left. I was so disappointed. My father will be visiting next month and I had plans to take me there also but not know. You need to retrain your wait staff.

Their "steam pot" with shrimp, crab legs, mussels, corn, and potatoes is BOMB!! A ton of food for the price! My husband and I shared and it was plenty for us both! Heading back tonight!

I went here with family while visiting the Tampa area based on the good reviews. The waiter was extremely helpful and he explained every single dish on the menu perfectly. I ordered the Mofongo and I cannot say that I enjoyed it. The flavoring was too sweet and became sickening after about 10 bites. I enjoyed everyone else's food more than my own. I would visit again but will order something else.

Was not satisfied. The food was tolerable at best. The service was crappie and the waitress was airheaded.

The restaurant smelled fishy, which is a sign that the seafood isn't fresh. The waiter, about 6 feet and mexican, with an attitude and was horrible. He wasn't a good LGBT representative either. We had an appetizer and left. I won't return here.

Walked in the door and smelled horrible seafood. Stayed because my girlfriend insisted. Service was horrible and the server wasn't doing much the whole time, including helping us. Spent more time with an empty cup than not. Flys everywhere. My girlfriends shrimp were overdone, and my $12 chicken strip basket had 4 of the tiniest chicken strips I've seen (not that they were bad tasting at all). And my caesar salad was....decent. No clue how this place had 4.3 stars on Google because that's what my girlfriend went off of to choose this place. I think it realistically deserves more of a 2 star but we went with 1 star. All told we spent $60 (with noooo alcohol) and we're horribly dissatisfied.

Dirty restaurant infested with flys and roaches -- Terrible Stale food, NOT FRESH -- Waiters stand around with thumbs up their butts. As we entered the front door the smell that hit us was unbelievably rancid, unfortunately, I still decided to give this place a shot. As we sat waiting for our food the fly's and German roaches came out to greet us. I ordered a shrimp po boy and plantains which is served with a slaw. I told the waiter I hate the taste of slaw and he informed me it would be no big deal to sub hush puppies which I obliged. When our food came out I asked about the hush puppies the waiter then said "OH" hush puppies will actually cost extra. This is after he supposedly put in the order and told me the sub would be no big deal and free or charge. *FOOD* Shrimp po boy was awful nothing more than SMALL frozen shrimp with a mediocre breading, their magical po boy sauce tasted more like badly seasoned mayo and my roll was toasted solid. Plantains were most definitely stale and you can taste it. Overall I paid full price for a meal which I couldn't even stomach, wasn't looking for a free meal but I felt they should have comped part of it seeing that I didn't eat anything on the plate. Never voiced that this meal should be comped however I did voice my concern of the stale and sub-par food.

Visited this restaurant during our vacation in Tampa. It's a small place with good food and service. The shrimp and scallops wrapped in bacon kabobs were excellent.
