It kind of feels funny to be sharing these newborn photos now, since my sweet little niece is almost 4 months already. How did that happen?!

When life gets busy, it’s only natural to let some things go. Like posting your photo sessions. For the most part, nobody really notices if they’re a couple weeks after the fact…unless they’re newborn photos. Actually, it kind of feels funny to even be…

There's so much snow on the ground right now, it's hard to believe these photos were taken merely weeks ago!

“The days are long but the years are short.” – Gretchen Rubin I often say this, in reference to my own family life, so it’s no surprise that other mothers share the same sentiment. Motherhood is – at times – a challenge…but oh so rewarding. Here are a few…

I am a visual storyteller. My hope, with photo sessions, is to document a piece of your family's story. If only just a sliver...of this moment in time.

I am a visual storyteller. My hope, with photo sessions, is to document a piece of your family’s story. If only just a sliver…of this moment in time. I don’t pretend to tell it all. I know that these images barely skim the surface of your family’s story.…

I recently hosted a Back to School photo event in my backyard.  I wanted to capture some simple, real and natural images for some friends...as opposed to the cheesy blue backdrop ones that most schools have. You know the ones? :) Here are some of the cuties that stopped by for a quick photo.

I asked Amber what it was like to have two kids now. Here's an excerpt (click the link for more): "I'm sure all moms say this but for sure I've felt my heart double in size...so grateful for my two beauties."

A month or so ago I did some in home photos with Amber and Jason when baby number two came. I am always so grateful when people welcome me into their home during those precious early days after a baby is born. My hope is that they will treasure the photos…

Just have to share a few more pics of this gorgeous momma (only a few weeks before the little one arrived)!

A couple weeks ago this gorgeous momma-to-be (aka sister-in-law) turned into a momma! We were over the moon to welcome the little one into the family (pics to come) and are so excited for her parents as they enter into the next chapter of their lives.…

I love capturing the real, day-to-day interactions in a family. These are the moments that make up your life!

Lifestyle photos work really well in the comfort of your own home. It’s where we get to be cozy and carefree. It’s where we get to relax and just be ourselves. But what are lifestyle photos, you ask? I like to think of them as a blend of documentary and…

Chandra & Courtney rocked their maternity session with super creative ideas. Pinterest, here they come!

What happens when you mix a couple of best friends, their baby bumps and Pinterest? A super fun maternity session! I have to admit, I was a little apprehensive when asked to shoot these two pregnant besties…because I can’t remember ever doing a maternity…

Mardi's got a certain "je ne sais quoi" about her. It's hard to explain...but if you've ever spent any time with her you'll know that she has something magical.

I have known this fabulous woman for a long time. And what I know is that she’s a nurturer, a healer and one-of-a-kind. So I couldn’t wait to do some head shots with her in my favourite Fish Creek Park spot. Mardi’s got a certain “je ne sais quoi” about…

I was honoured to be able capture some mother-daughter moments for these amazing teachers during the recent Mother's Day tea.

Our child wrapped up her first year of preschool today, and these two women now have a well deserved summer break! Twice a week my daughter was greeted by the most welcoming teachers – Miss Meghan and Miss Chandra – at the Learning Tree Preschool. They…
