I booked a table for 2:00pm on a Saturday for my family. I specifically booked a table as my mother has Parkinsons and cannot be kept standing around for long periods of time. We arrived on-time to a less than warm reception and were told to check in with the person inside. A woman with a clipboard wrote down our names, they didn't even have details of our reservation, and told us to wait by the bar. The bar was full of under 16s who behaved but it did not seem right for them to be around the bar area. After 20mins of waiting my mother was finding it difficult to stand any longer so I asked the woman with the clipboard why we were waiting as we had made a reservation and was told to wait again. I even explained that my mother had Parkinsons and asked to be seated as soon as possible which made no difference whatsoever. I told her that we would not be waiting for a table and had decided to leave, which made her very happy as she informed her manager that a spare spot had become available. I can't comment on the food as we didn't get near it. Quite simply the Red Hot World Buffet has the atmosphere of a cattle market and the customer service is like a bolt gun.
