Hi, i am greek myself. And you are 100% right when you mean high caloric and high sugar. The one thing though that i do suggest is that you use a mixture of nuts not just pecans. Also just as one of your viewers said, i would say brush each layer with butter and not pour the whole rest of the pound over it.
