Dad's Bail Bonds
1319 S Commerce St, Las Vegas, NV 89102
I needed to bail a relative out of jail in Las Vegas. I called several of the top ranked bail bond companies. I choose Dad's Bail Bonds because they seemed to have the most experience and really know the facts about jail system and bail in Sin City, especially when it came to the different options available. By Nevada law all bail bond companies must be licensed and also charge the same fees. What made Dad's stand out was the compassion, friendliness and professionalism of the employees, in particular Jake Waggoner who is co-owner of Dads. Jake worked with me via phone and email, mostly at very inconvenient times of the day. Money was an issue for me so it really helped that Jake offered credit card payments, financing, and no collateral bonds. The effort he put into understanding my financial position and the flexible solutions was a sign that he truly cared about my situation. This made a huge difference as the whole situation was pretty stressful. I highly recommend Dad's bail bonds if you want experienced, considerate service in a difficult situation.

Sushi Ring
1861 South Nevada Avenue, Colorado Springs, CO 80905
The sushi buffet is why I go here for lunch once a month or so. Sit at the bar where you get sushi chef that is dedicated to serving you quickly and politely. The sushi is very good, especially the basic sushi items like tuna, shrimp, mackerel, etc. The sushi rolls are delicious but I love raw fish so I tend to gorge myself on the all you can eat individual sushi items. The decor is a campy Elvis theme that is fun but definitely not formal. Come with your sushi loving friends and enjoy a two hour lunch.

I've been here several times over the years for parts for my Kioti 35hp tractor and implements. They are very knowledgeable with many types of tractors and implements so give them a call even if you don't have John Deere. The shop is very clean and so is the yard. Nice selection of used implements in the yard. They are order most parts for your PTO attachments and I highly recommend you give them a try.

Very casual locals style sports bar with large seating area, lots of TVs and fast friendly service. This is a great place to grab a beer at the bar or meet friends for a game. I've only had the appetizers so far and they were tasty and served fast and hot. The price of drinks is a little on high side but not out of line for the area. This is a very friendly pub so if you are new to the area this is a great place to make your new hang out bar. The bartenders are extremely friendly and you feel life you've made a good friend after one visit. I have not been there for the music on the weekends but the line up looked great so I will be back to see how this place rocks.

This is an awesome old school burger and shake joint, like going back in a time machine. Not many left like Cy's and this one is unique among the unique. Full of charm if you're into worn and well loved counters, equipment and even he staff and customers to a degree, no offense intended lol. The burgers are made fresh daily from Caligrate beef by Ranch Foods Direct. If you are familiar with Ranch Foods you know their beef is the best around. I go here whenever I'm in the area and hungry, to me its a must stop when I want a quick, delicious burger. The onion rings are fantastic. They are alway busy but wait times are not bad, and while you wait you can enjoy the ambiance of both the photos on the walls and the people watching in the dining room. Great place to take the kids and there is often kids sports teams in Cy's dining room and "car hop" area celebrating after the game. I highly recommend you try Cy's at least once if not for the food then for the experience.

The service and food were fine however the atmosphere does not warrant the high price of the food. Dinner for two with one beer each was $31 which for me puts the price in the range of Ruby Tuesdays, Old Chicago's, and other similar chain restaurants in the area that serve decent chain food. Not a bad price for a good meal. However the ambiance is much more like a fast food joint. You wait in a serving line to order, your food is served on paper plates and the seating is very similar to a Subway or Wendy's. The BBQ and sides were tasty, however nothing to write home about. They claim to be Texas style BBQ which I've had in Texas and the two do not compare. A 2-meat plate dinner was $11.50 so not a bad price, but I recommend getting it to go so you can enjoy your dinner in a decent atmosphere. If you are in a hurry to eat and you like BBQ I'd recommend giving Dickey's a try, but I would not take a date there or go there with friends for dinner and a couple beers.
