Absolutely the worst customer service & overall service - enough that we will never invest in a Subaru ever again. After attempting to contact this dealership in regards to a huge issue on their end, Will Hunter the "Service Director" was extremely rude and unhelpful. After going in person to see if we could find a resolution, we were asked to leave & to call a 1-800 number. What? They messed up our appointment on a recall (said it didn't exist when we showed up for the appointment after 5 weeks) which absolutely screwed us on selling the vehicle. I will never, ever deal with any Subarus ever again!

Horrible customer service. I hate working with dealerships anyway, and I wouldn't be if not for an airbag recall, which the dealership is obligated to fix for free immediately as it is a serious threat to safety. I called and asked if I could bring my car in and they said they'd "call me with the next available appointment." That was a month ago. So my boyfriend brought it in today and they again told him they couldn't take it anytime soon and needed to order the part, which you bet they're going to take their sweet time doing because there's no money in fixing recalls. Given our last experience I take it they won't be calling us anytime soon. Meanwhile my car is overdue for inspection because of this problem. And on top of being unsafe to drive because if someone hits me and the collision doesn't kill me the airbag will, it's illegal to drive without an inspection stucker. But like most of us, I can't be without a car, can't afford a rental or to take a cab everywhere, and I definitely don't want to pay a fine for having to drive everywhere in a car this dealership, and probably many others, don't really want to fix because it's an hour of free labor they could otherwise use to nickel and dime someone else. Now I find myself in the position of having to pester them every day because I know they'll never call me back if I dont. If I were made of money you could bet I'd pay a reputable garage to get this fixed and inspected within three or four days.

Hi Kerry, We're sorry to hear about your experience here at Burlington Subaru. Unfortunately there is a widespread recall on airbags at the moment. We are told that there are over 3,000 potentially effected Subarus in our area and at this point there are over 500 people on the waiting list to have their airbags replaced. We are happy to help you get a temporary rental car at no cost to you (provided by Subaru of America) if you would like. We are replacing the airbags on a first call first serve basis so that we are fair to everyone who needs to have their airbag replaced. I had a great experience buying my car. However after you drive out of the lot, it all changes. You can never get a service appointment here. I've called MANY times trying to get my car in for an oil change/break inspection and every time they told me I had to wait THREE-FOUR WEEKS! They gave me the option to drop off my car for a few days. Some people simply cannot be without a car for that amount of time! They are rude on the phone and never helpful. I pay so much for a warranty so I do not want to take my services to another shop. Subaru's are great cars but be ready to wait to get your car fixed (or pay to have it done elsewhere).

They squeezed us in on a Saturday to do an emergency repair while we were in Vermont on vacation. The repair only cost $64 and they recommended we do a warantee claim back in Canada. Subaru Canada could use a lesson on Customer Service from them. No wonder every second car in Vermont seems to be a Subaru. I am changing my liscence plate holders from my original dealer's to their's because they were so impressive relatively speaking.

I've had terrible experiences every time I've interacted Burlington Subaru. In purchasing, a few years ago they tried to sell me the same car - at the same price with a higher monthly payment over a longer period. Same terrible experience with the service dept, my local mechanic performed and identified a known issue with Subaru vehicles and I contacted 1 person who initially scheduled my appointment a month out because he was too overwhelmed with changing tires. Then when I brought it in, they doubted everything I said and told me that unless it's registering a check engine light that the BROKEN part that is under warranty, will just be a nuisance because they wouldn't do anything about it. Apparently it's known locally how terrible Burlington Subaru is. I plan to travel 2 hours just to get the service done to avoid Burlington Subaru.

Crystal Careau was very knowledgeable, really responsive, and she helped me find the right car (and the right deal) for me. I enjoyed working with her and would recommend her highly. She was friendly and personable. She was quick to answer all my emails, didn't pressure me, and emphasized that she would continue to answer any questions after the sale. It was my first time buying a new car and Crystal made it easy.
