We need more of these historical tech comparisons. As an owner of a 1970 MG Midget, I'm always interested in the advances in technology, especially since that's what ultimately killed the British sports car. I would also like to see the price adjusted for inflation. Oh, and Brian needs to where that ascott more often.

1: Ash is not a chainsaw wielding villain. He is a hero with a chainsaw as a hand. The definition of original.

2: It's unfair to use Scream and Cabin in the Woods since their whole point is to put a mirror to horror conventions to show the limitations of being a slave to genre tropes.

3. Halloween is a thriller and not a slasher. The only blood actually shed is Michael Meyers's (coat hanger to the eye, I think).

That being said, I only noticed maybe half a dozen other movies, not counting sequels, which doesn't t really point to a problem.

Any word on whether or not it will be backwards compatible?
Microsoft’s new gaming and media console will be called Xbox One and will launch “later this year,” the company announced at an event on its campus in Redmond, Wash., this morning. The event, Xbox: A New Generation Revealed, began with a video message from Microsoft employees, celebrities and Xbox players. “For the first time, you and your TV are going to have a relationship,” one of the employees said in the video. “Today, we put you at the cent...

Do enough of these and they'll have film school classes that are just watching and discussing your videos. Thank you, so much.

Amazing Latte. Earthy with chocolate undertones. Not acidic at all. Good danish and customer service. Loses a star though because of no Wi-Fi.

It seemed have a decent amount of off-street parking. Has pizza by the slice with good sized slices. Taste is meh though. No real atmosphere to speak of.

Two John Muir quotes come to mind when contemplating paying the exorbitant $18 fee to see the crater: " Those reserves are not merely for the convenience and benefit of the people near them, but they are the property of the nation and for its greatest good. It is unreasonable to suppose that they should be destroyed or imperiled for any local convenience, as a mere present to men engaged in one local industry. These temple-destroyers, devotees of ravaging commercialism, seem to have a perfect contempt for Nature, and instead of lifting their eyes to the God of the mountains, lift them to the Almighty Dollar." It is ethically and perhaps morally wrong to charge such a fee to witness a phenomenon such as this crater. On the other hand, the lady working security was extremely nice, hence the second star.
