I didn't see this one coming...but the fact that it has fascinates me. I'm with Christian on seeing that integration plan.

Multichannel Fundraising Strategies and Tactics
With more communications channels out there, your supporters are getting bombarded with more messages from charities, companies, friends, and family members. So how can you make sure your organization stands out? In this workshop, +Farra Trompeter from Big Duck, Susan Gordon from Causes, and Paul Paz y Miño from +Amazon Watch, share ways you can build stronger campaigns by taking inspiration from your brand, connecting the new Causes platform to run your campaign, and sharing some successful case studies.

Join us for a lively discussion with a happy hour following the event at Causes HQ as a kick-off to 2012 Nonprofit Technology Conference.

Hey nonprofiteer friends out there: What is the #1 thing that frustrates you about how nonprofit CEOs/Executive Directors talk about/use social media? What do you want them to know or change? (OK to be general, unless you feel comfortable sharing the specifics)

The need to control what other people say/post/think instead of engaging and letting a reputation stand.

oo--screensharing in G+ hangouts. this could be fun!
Christopher Johnson originally shared:

A visual refresh for Google+ Hangouts

When we launched Hangouts with Extras last September, we wanted to test new features and get feedback from users. We’ve learned a lot over the past few months, and today we’re rolling out a new Hangouts look and feel that incorporates some of the “extras,” and better reflects Google’s overall design (http://goo.gl/gG1NA). Highlights include:

- Screensharing: share what’s on your computer screen with everyone in the hangout. This is the first of many extras we’re graduating to Hangouts proper.

- Bigger video: we’ve put more emphasis on the live video itself by optimizing white space and other screen elements.

Check out the attached photos to preview some of the changes, and have fun hanging out!
