Hey guys, I'm back, just took a brief break from Google+.
Alright, so.... I'm not here to complain about how 'hard' my life is, I have it extremely good compared to some.
I am bound and determined to become a successful artist, and if I had the resources, I would be much further down the road than I am now.
Here is my situation: first of all, my parents do not support my artistic journey, they are just indifferent, all they seem to care about is that I get a good education, I know they truly love me, but they don't think I can amount to anything.
Second of all, I have five other siblings, all very young and foolish, each of them are constantly fighting with each other and turning our home into a ruckus.
Third of all, our family has one computer that the children are allowed to use, I have my own account (which was an administrator, before my father straight out told me to tell him it's password) but my father changed the password so I am not able to get on it unless I ask him, and even then I am only allowed to get on it on Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays. On top of that, whenever we are allowed to get on, my siblings race to try to get on first, they want to play games, and I want to train to become an artist, and we are only allowed 1-2 hours at a time.
Fourth of all, I am homeschooled, and rarely get out of the house, meaning that I have no time to meet people, or connect with other artist.
On top of all this, I am feeling extremely depressed, as well as suicidal, like my life has no purpose. I am a believer, I know God has me in his hands, and this will all turn out for good, but I just feel done, nothing really means anything anymore.
What I need you folks to do, is give me advice on how to handle all this, as well as become the best artist I can be.
My goal is to get a decent computer, devoted to art, but even then my father will probably put strict limits on it. I had a laptop, but it basically killed itself.
Sorry if I seem full of self-pity, but the truth is, I feel genuinely depressed and hopeless. Thanks.
