So happy to have found this place on our way into NC! The risotto was awesome and a hearty portion size. My omnivore husband loved the Porto "steak" and the canollo dessert was incredible. And for those who haven't yet had gourmet vegan cheese, you must order the cheese plate appetizer, it will forever change how you look at vegan cheese!

Exceptional food! The Biltmore House is not the primary reason we drive 5 hours from Franklin Tennessee to Asheville...Plant is. Combine a meal at Plant with a visit to the French Broad Chocolate Lounge and you're as close to heaven as you can get at the moment...seriously. The food is comparable or better than the best vegan/vegetarian we've had in NYC and CA. We eat primarily at home and when we eat out, we look for food that we would not prepare at home...Plant has exactly what we're looking for. I would suggest that you might even invite your omnivore friends and introduce them to the world of natural, organic and local food prepared with over the top detail. The servers are equally congenial and caring. Keep it up and we'll keep coming back!

Best vegetarian meals I have had... ever. I go every so often, as I work nearby, and Jason, the chef, never disappoints. The Reuben is great, the Berger is great, the Peppercorn Crusted Seitan with Cauliflower Puree is great... My favorite thing, however, is dessert. The Key Lime Parfait is out of this world. It brilliantly combines the key lime cream (for lack of a better word, I guess) with the crunch of the nuts. It is amazing.

The satay was delicious but the portobello steak was magnificent! The 'v1' sauce was a perfect compliment. Our server was very friendly and attentive and always kept our water glass filled. We also loved being able to bring our small dog with us. Can't wait to eat there on our next visit to Asheville!

I don't care if you're a carnivore or an herbivore, it boils down to one simple thing: the food at Plant tastes really good. For some people, it seems weird to have a meal with no meat, but billions of people do it every day, and it's no big deal. If you're not scared to skip meat, and you like FOOD THAT TASTES GOOD, go try Plant for yourself. If you're not sure what to order, ask your server, because the people there are really cool and helpful for those of us not well-versed in vegan foods. Oh, and save room for dessert. Or maybe two desserts.

Amazing vegan/vegetarian food in the high country. One of the BEST vegan chefs ever makes dishes that can't be compared to other restaurants. The jerk seitan dish was to die for and all their ingredients are fresh and local. The servers are friendly, knowledgeable and extremely accommodating. I highly recommend Plant to any food lovers.

If you are not a Vegan and have no plans of converting into one, wait until you taste the food at the Plant in Asheville. I am no Vegan either but after having a taste of how delicious Vegan food can be, I am planning to gradually drop meat from my food pyramid. Lol! The chefs in the Plant are doing a great job in presenting Vegan food to the meat eaters in a very creative and mouth watering way.
