If you're thinking of using Sprint for your phone service read this:

I'm stuck paying Sprint $27 per month for the next two years for a phone that does not work due to network issues with their new LTE towers. I complained three weeks into owning it, but they refuse to issue a return/refund.

Bob's Discount Furniture
1999 Broadhollow Road, Farmingdale, NY 11735
It took me 6 weeks to replace a broken bed under warranty. Plus the final delivery was made an hour outside of my appointment window. Here's how things went down:

While Bob's offers what appears to be an incredible warranty, I called in for service as my bed had broken with in the first year. They could not replace it without having an inspector come out and check it first. The first appointment they had for an inspector on a weekend (I work M-F) was 2 weeks out. Had the inspector come, it would have then been another week or two for the replacement to come, but on the day of my appointment I called and was told that my appointment was "on hold" and that nobody was scheduled to arrive.

I was advised they would reach out to the local tech and arrange for him to come by during the day if possible, and I gave them my number to reach me. My girlfriend remained home as I went to work. When I got home, nobody had come by and when I called Bob's back to verify, they advised me that nobody was available to come out. It would have been nice for them to call me so I could tell my g/f not to wait around anymore.

I offered to take photos and send them in so we didn't have to wait for a tech and the supervisor I was speaking to agreed. He advised me they would be sending an email with instructions on how to submit the photos and it would arrive with in 24-48 hours. I gave him a week, and nothing showed up in my inbox or spam folders.

I called back irate and got a supervisor who gave me the email address over the phone and I had her stay on the line while I sent the photos. She immediately approved the replacement, but again the first weekend appointment was three weeks away.

My appointment was 9:42 am - 12:42 am. I'm not a morning person, but was woken with a call at 8:30 AM saying they would be there in 5 minutes, I would have normally woken up a half hour later and showered and even had some time to straighten up (The place gets to be a mess when there's a broken bed standing upright in your living room for 6 weeks)

Bobs has an issue supporting their products in a timely manner, and keeping to their scheduled appointments. (even with in a 3 hour window!)

I highly recommend you keep away from Bob's products.

I think I got to it first, so I'm claiming the term "Hashole" to mean a person who hash tags stupid/non-relevant tags, or uses hash tags on a site that doesn't support searching for them... anyone with me on this?

Does anybody know any executives from Sprint?

I have been on the phone with multiple supervisors, escalation groups, and the corporate complaints group at dan@sprint for the past week and don't feel like I'm getting any assistance.

I bought 2 new phones from Sprint on their Easy Pay program. The phones have been getting Intermittent phone and Internet service due to compatibility issues with their LTE network (Confirmed by an in-store repair tech as well as a phone support rep). They only offer a 14 day return policy, and my initial complaint was about 20 days after I bought the phone. For this reason, they're refusing to return/refund the phone.

They insist I am stuck paying $28/mo for a phone I have had less than 30 days and am not able to use.

I did not get the phone subsidised. I paid full retail (on a 2-year payoff plan). I paid one payment and now Sprint won't take it back, expecting me to pay $28/month for a phone that I can't use. I will eventually get another phone, but i'm not paying top dollar for an older Sprint phone (I would probably look for a used Galaxy S3 again to replace the one I had).

LOL!

It's almost #SuperbOwl  Sunday, which means G+, and the internet in general will be full of Owls for a few days, making it harder and harder to use G+/Twitter/etc without at least acknowledging it... so... here it is, acknowledged.

I can move on now, right?

OH, I guess there's also a football game or something in the US that people might mention from time to time. What that has to do with Owls though, I dunno. Silly sports-folks!

The location is always busy regardless if I'm there for lunch or dinner. The food is great, and portions are fair. There's a few decent Chinese restaurants in the area, but IMO, The Orient is the best of them.
