We should have blinkers on shopping carts...and air-horns. Tell me you don't want a shopping cart with an air-horn and I will know you are a liar.

KODAK Duaflex II
My latest find cleaned up really well!  This is most-likely an early 50’s model - the Duaflex was manufactured between 1947 and 1960.  There are two shutter settings: “I” and “B”, with a fixed focus 75mm Kodet lens (I think f/15).  It also came with the synced flash attachment, so I’m on the look-out for bulbs (#5 and/or #25).  It shoots 620, so I re-spooled a 120 roll and now it’s loaded and ready to go.
A few years ago I shot my Brownie Hawkeye using its’ flash attachment and was surprised at how great the images were.  This camera is very similar (in function) to my Hawkeye, so I’m looking forward to experimenting with it.  The biggest difference between the two has to be the larger finder and faux twin-lens design of the Duaflex.  Beyond that, they both function the same way – and this is what I love about them.  Actually, most box-type cameras from the first half of the last century only differ with respect to the aesthetic style of the box, and the material used to create the basic form. It’s a beautiful thing when a 50(+) year-old device functions as smoothly and efficiently as it did when it was brand new.
I’ll post the pics from my first roll soon…

I flown with Martha Cobb on Southwest.  This is just one of the many highlights of travel with her. She quips throughout the flight and she tries to get to know just about everyone on the plane. She has so many gifts -- smiles, laughter, happiness and love. Martha loves what she does and she makes an often unpleasant exeperince so much fun., Hope you get to be entertained and served by her.
