Played the now renamed Legends Golf Course (formerly Temeku Hills) and it is nice to see the new ownership/management is getting it back to what it once was. The greens were is excellent shape albeit a bit on the slow side. Still have alot of clover in the fairways and rough but the bunkers were nice with plenty of sand under the ball and they had been groomed that morning. Paid $30.00 on Golfnow for a Sunday noon teetime, got out early and had a very nice round. The staff was very nice and it all made for a great afternoon.

This is by far the worst maintained course that I have played at. I should have listened to the reviews, but instead decided to believe that it couldn't be as bad as others were saying simply because the price was comparable to other nice courses. The fairways are truly like cow pastures. In most holes, you couldn't distinguish the fairway from the rough. There are weeds growing everywhere, including the so called 'sand traps'. One of the most frustrating parts of the course is the greens. They are completely cut up, and made up of different kinds of grass (or weeds) which makes for extremely uneven putting. All in all, I don't think I would golf this course for free, and I would strongly suggest that you go elsewhere before going to this cow pasture.

I am a local that has been keeping my eye on this place. I played the course in February of 2010 and it was in HORRIBLE condition, with nary a speck of green grass to be found. However, we gave it another shot last month (October 2010) and it was in MUCH better shape. I would call it a very good municipal course. Not nearly as nice as Redhawk or Temecula Creek Inn but very playable.

This course was great! Even though I was totally hungover (way too much wine tasting the day before)...I loved playing this course. We played from the Championship tees first thing Sunday morning which made the course fairly challenging. The first par 3 was 245 yards! Greens are in great shape. A little long. Could have been cut a tad shorter. Same thing with the grass on the tee boxes. I think they're letting them grow out a bit more. Fairways are average. Nothing bad to say except for the bunkers are still nasty. They need some REAL sand in there. Overall, the layout and design was impressive. Will be coming back for sure!

I used to work here and after the new Manager took over the place went downhill. The course is not kept. The greens are terrible. Customers were always complaing their cart was dying. They don't sell alcohol anymore because they were buying it illegally. Only sell snacks and no real food. Horrible customer service. there was also a newspaper article about how the home owners are upset that the value is depreciating. It was beautiful 2 years ago. Now, sadly, the opposite.

I was invited to play at Temeku Hills by a friend. I had the most wonderful time. The course is not that long at 6636 yds and we played Champioship tees. I love the course design. Bunkers and water hazards nicely located to make the course very interesting. My friend told me that Temeku Hills have spent lots of effort in improving the course and it really shows. Compared to San Dimas GC I played last Sunday, I would rate Temeku Hills much much higher. Those of you who were disappointed previously, I think it is worth a second look. Oh and shooting an 87, my best score ever, never hurts. Would definitely come back and play again! Cheers!

There has been alot going on at Temeku Hills. After reading the Aug. 24, 2009 I was debating whether or not to play on Monday the 22nd of March. The course is in the best shape I have seen it in awhile. And the GREENS are in GREAT shape. I would like to see some sand in bunkers, but will play the golf course again. Book a tee time and see for yourself.

Course is much better since new owners took over. Greatness is around the corner. Seeing is believing.
