I have driven two and a half hours to meet family here. The food has always been good and the service, employees have always been very helpful and pleasant. And their dessert tamales R very tasty! I usually take a cooler with me in bring back quite a few tamales. The earlier you get there the better selection you have when it comes to tamales. And don't forget their homemade chips and salsa!

This place has awesome tamales and tacos. Have always received great service too! If you are looking for an authentic taste, this is the place to go.

To be honest, never tried the "Tamales" at the 'Tamale Place' is actually their Chipotle Chicken (soft-open faced) tacos that is their real secret. I am hooked on them! They are light in calories (w/o cheese option), high in protein, and reasonably priced for the value of the meal. Spicy and Delicious! The only drawback is their two line system for ordering. One line for ordering and then you walk around the corner to pay in a second line.......not the most efficient, but suppose it is a feature for when it gets real busy... just seems overkill. I will continue to go back to this place....great food!

Yummo! Enough room for our RV to park. Stopped by on a Monday noon-thirty. Had the chicken tamale with green sauce. Outstanding. The best masa I've had in a long time. Spicy pork tamale in banana leaf was very good as well. Triple D-ers --this is a great place. Don't worry about the decor, the food is great.

Get the Nachos!! Yummo! I can agree with other reviews the Tamale's aren't not that good and especially for the price it is not worth it. However, when I am in the area I will stop and get the Nachos Steak and Chipotle Chicken are worth it!

This place is a disappointment. The salsa was gross, the chips were OKAY. The tacos are not bad but mine was a little dry. The tamales are just disappointing. they are salty, and about 90% corn dough and 10% filling. The one thing i did enjoy was the dessert tamales. I had the chocolate cake desert tamale, this i had no problems with. All in all, I wouldn't go out of my way to get here.
