Bali Taman Safari and Marine Park makes you see lions and crocodiles in very near view, with more 115 thousands Rupiahs, you can see Bali Agung theater performance and with 350 thousands Rupiahs you can ride an elephant. Very unique experience!

On holiday September 2013. One of the best experiences of a wildlife park. It might be Indonesia but it beats a lot of similar places in Europe. Well worth a visit, staff love the animals.

Even though it is in Bali, entry prices are USD, no matter what currency you pay to get in, change is given in rupiah with a terrible exchange rate. For 2 adults and a child, entry was $275.00 (the listed exchange rate was 10000 rupiah to the dollar. nearly 1000 less than what was on the streets), if paid in Rupiah the entry is calculated back into US dollars, at a worse exchange rate than the streets. And then change given in rupiah. Upon entry, shuttled to the main complex, most things are getting old and dated, did the safari journey and only saw a handful of animals, most were just under a tree or a free standing enclosure. Park claims that animals are in there natural environment. Each enclosure would not be much bigger than a basketball court. Unsure how but the tour guide kept on referring to a few different animals as being the fastest in the world. Around the park are several animals for photos. Each photo taken with the park camera was 100 000 rupiah. Wouldn't be half bad except it is printed on a standard inkjet printer. At those prices the quality of print is disappointing At the beginning of the elephant ride cameras are not allowed. Then half way the guide stops and asks for money for photos taken with your own phone. Friends I were with even had the screen of a Samsung S4 broken. And still had to pay. Considering no food or water is allowed into the park one would expect the restaurant to be at least decent. Food was below average. Having 8 people was able to taste a few dishes from different cooks, all the same. All in all - I would not recommend this place to any tourist. Perth Zoo would be light years ahead at half the cost. And centrally located.

Nice set up. Huge potential. Not huge amount of animals. Expensive

Good stuff all around. The elephant show was particularly good. And the theater is absolutely also worth a viewing.
