This Saturday, February 25th the Charter Oak Romance Writers is hosting an all day workshop in Connecticut with Sara Humphreys on "Character Development, World Building, and Staying Healthy While Writing."

Sara Humphreys is the award-winning author of multiple paranormal and contemporary romance series.

BRAVE THE HEAT, the first book in The McGuire Brothers series, was nominated for the RT Reviewers Choice Award for Best Contemporary Romance 2015. The third book in the Amoveo series, UNTAMED, won two PRISM awards–Dark Paranormal and Best of the Best. The third novel in the Dead in the City series, VAMPIRES NEVER CRY WOLF, won the RT Reviewers Choice Award for Best Paranormal Romance 2015. The first two novels in her vampire series were nominated for the National Readers Choice Award. Sara is also a professional actress. Some of her television credits include, A&E Biography, Guiding Light, Another World, As the World Turns and Rescue Me. In 2017, she can be seen in the indie film CARL, the real life story of Carl Denaro who was shot by the Son of Sam and survived.
