Fathers day is coming! For those of you out there that know me well you will understand why I picked this video. For those that may not know me as well here is a insight into my sense of humor. I hope everyone enjoys Fathers Day. If you are going to travel remember to get a trip check. If your car dies the windows may not go down giving you a chance of fresh air.
P.S.
I know I am not the only one out there to have experienced this.

Memorial Day is coming and most of us are going to celebrate in some way. I want to take some time to remind everyone to be SAFE. There is going to be a lot of other people doing the same thing. The roads will be more crowded and DUI check points will slow traffic. Please relax and just enjoy yourselves. I attached a short video from YouTube to show yow what not to do. Have a great weekend and remember who the Holiday is truly about.

For those of you going up north this weekend to get out of the heat and do some hiking keep your eyes open. I took this picture last weekend while near Whispering Pines Az. The snakes are out and this one turned out to be a rattler. Not all rattlers are diamondbacks up north they are black and when small can look like a Gardner snake. This one was big enough to see the rattles but the small ones are hard to see. Keep you eyes open and be safe. Sorry I didn't get a better picture but if you look close you can see it was facing me and I am not that fast anymore.

Heat can kill! This weekend I was fortunate enough to get to take the family and some friends out of the heat north to the Payson area. We make this trip many times a year. This trip was different there was many more vehicles than usual were off the side of the road with their hoods open. Now anyone who has driven this trip up the 89 to Payson knows that some of the hills are long and can make your vehicle run hot. This trip was the first this year to get out of the heat for many people. As it gets hotter it is very important to make sure your vehicle is ready for the trip. If you have small children PLEASE make sure to have a small ice chest full of water and some snacks in case you get stuck on the road. This is a good idea no matter what vehicle you have you never know what might happen. I previously worked at a dealer and regularly repaired new vehicles under Warranty so all vehicles can have problems new or not. I will not always be there to stop, help, and give you some of my water. Like the saying goes "Hope for the best be prepared for the worst" We will however always be here to do a Trip Check for you before you go. Thanks for reading and be safe.

P.S. I post this picture again to show that when I was stuck in the dunes for nine hours I was very glad to have a ice chest with water in it.

Easter is over and I hope all of you had a great weekend! This morning on the way in I noticed a vehicle on the side of the road with a flat tire. This made me think about my tires and my spare tire. When I checked my spare it was about 5psi low. This is not a big deal but some of the spare tires we check here are almost empty. If you haven't checked the air in your spare lately you should. It would not be good to get a flat and have a flat spare. If you don't know how to check your spare or just don't want to give us a call or stop in and we will be happy to do it for you. If you want we will check them all.

I found this video on You Tube and thought it was a good example of the Four Strokes of a Engine. If you watch closely when it is in Slow motion you can see them all. The Four Strokes are Intake, Compression, Power, Exhaust. Can you spot them all? You can also see what a Fuel System Cleaning, or Decarbon Service does. Again when in slow motion running on alcohol you can see the un-burned alcohol turn dark as it removes the deposits from the piston and valves. Give us a call if you think you need a Fuel Service.

Don't ignore the little Noises you think might be a problem just because it's not that bad yet. This past weekend I went to the dunes with my family and friends. In my Sandrail I have headsets so all the occupants can talk. With the headsets on it is hard to hear vehicle noises. My passenger thought he heard a noise but then said it might just be the wind. No big deal we continued on. Further into the dunes I had to pump the brake pedal to get brakes (not normal). When I asked My passenger if he still heard the noise as he said yes the right rear axle snapped and the Wheel fell off. Now if I had stopped when the noise was first heard to inspect I could have saved a lot of money not only in more damaged parts but a very costly extraction (snow cats aren't cheep) from literally the middle of the Dunes. So don't let the little noise go this was a worst case, not all noises will leave you stranded in the middle of nowhere looking for a volleyball for a friend, but checking them early will save you money.

Good afternoon to all.
I just returned from a combined training and vacation trip to Washington D.C. and surrounding areas. It was a very good six day training course where I learned a lot of ways to better serve all of you. My Family got to come up for the end of the trip and join me. We saw the sites and got to tour the capital building. It was a great experience and I recommend if you ever get the chance to do it. I would like to say thank you to Sonja, Suzi, and Jeff Flake for setting that up for us. It was nice to have some family time away and my kids got to make new friends at the hotel while swimming when it was too cold to go out (indoor pool). Thank you to all of you for being our customers and friends. I know you will see the improved customer service and offers to come. Have a wonderful day.
Sincerely.

"Why does my car shake?"
This is a very good question. There are many reasons this could happen. The type of vibration helps figure out the cause. If you are feeling a Vibration when stopped at a light the cause would be different than when driving down the freeway at 65 MPH. The vibration at a stop could be a Engine Misfire or a bad Engine Mount. If you are feeling it driving down the road it could be Tires or Shocks. Either way you should have it checked out before it causes more problems.
