Introduction
Polly is a published writer, photographer and PADI Master Instructor - one of the highest accreditations of PADI training. Specializing in Caribbean marine creature and coral identification, she also enjoys teaching all levels of scuba diving in the Caribbean.

A water baby by nature, Polly grew up on the ocean-loving Isle of Wight, in England, and travelled to many countries with her family throughout her developing years. This culminated with her life changing work teaching English to young students in remote Kyrgyzstan. Returning to family in New Zealand, she discovered her love for scuba diving and started the exciting transition to be a PADI Diving Instructor.

Working first in Indonesia, Polly was determined to attain the highest accolades in diving and went on to gain invaluable experiences teaching in England, Scotland and the Caribbean. Island Divers, on the Isle of Wight, provided Polly with the opportunity to become a successful Co-Manager and with her background in travel, she excelled at leading dive trips abroad.

Concurrently, her passion for critical writing and theoretical studies led her to gain a BA (Hons) in Visual Culture at Brighton University. Combining her interest in art with cultural and social history, she focused on developing a range of critical writing approaches to vocalize visual language. These skills helped Polly to become a published writer in scuba diving and travel destination magazines such as Blue Caribbean.

Polly seamlessly blends her passion for writing with her interests in travel, culture and marine activities. She has an exemplary talent at capturing experiences in the written form.
