Spring is coming! First bloom of the season, beautiful Iris. Gorgeous peach tree blooming in my neighbors yard that I am lucky to have a view of. So happy!

All though it is coming in more slowly I am so happy with what the garden is providing mid-September.

4 trays of Thyme in the dehydrator to enjoy in my cooking throughout the year. I have so much that I am thinking some of my foodie friends will get some as x-mas gifts. Yum!

All of these tomatoes turned into 12 pint cans for later use. Whew! I forgot what a process this is. Happy to be done.

Whew feels good to be done with my homemade jelly gifts. Hot Pepper (serranos & jalapenos from garden) Strawberry Lemon (from strawberries we picked at an organic farm), Pomegranate (from neighbors tree) and Lemon Marmalade with Pomegranate seeds (lemons from a friend)

Does anybody know what kind of squash this is? Orange skin and flesh, shaped like butternut but only 4-5 inches in length and skin is not tan like butternut. Originally started green with yellow streaks prior to turning orange.

Before the rain hits we harvested quite a bit from the garden today: many tomatoes, tomatillos, beautiful beets, serranos and green bell peppers.

So I have been slacking off on the push up challenge. Shameful I know....so since I am running out of time today I decided to just see how many I could max out at.....I did 46 push ups in a row...I know it could be better if I stuck with the program....will be repeating Week 6 again next week and hopefully be more on track.
