Valet Parking =THIEFS. Stay away unless you take everything in your car out, and I mean EVERYTHING! I don't know how Marriott would have a contract with a company like that. Only in Miami.....

Beware if you valet your personal car. I live in the building that this hotel uses to park the valeted cars. The valet drivers have a total disregard for the fact that these cars are peoples personal property. Additionally, they don't care that they are driving recklessly through a residential building. Many residents have complained that these valets have nearly struck them, myself included. Stand outside the hotel and you will hear them flying in the garage across the street. If you hear loud thuds - that is them flying over 9 floors of speed bumps at about 20+ mph. I hope your car has a strong suspension. Double check your car for damage when they bring it around. I have seen more than my fare share of them running into the back of one another as they race up and down the garage ramps. To top it all off, now half the scum working the valet are old valets from our building who were moved/fired due to too many complaints. In a board meeting, a high up from the valet company was requested to hear the complaints of the residents - his response was "most of the cars are rentals anyway". From the top to the bottom they do not care. Stay at hotel indigo. From what I hear its nicer and cheaper. Plus you can park yourself.

They steal from your Car. They make you valet your car with guys that have shirts that say Marriott but really its subcontracted out to some other company who cannot be held responsible for anything. Be careful of what you leave in your car in the trunk simple things like tools and equipment will end up missing. Make sure you check every time you drop the car off and pick it up. They give you a card with blanket statement that says they are not held responsible if anything is missing. This could be fought in small claims court ( which will cost you a day of work and headaches) or even beat by a decent lawyer which will cost you 700$ for this small case. This they know so if your possessions grow legs and walk away like your spare tire they know there is nothing you are going to do about it. If you do leave your car there take everything I wouldn't be surprise with the rise in gas prices that they wont siphon your gas to sell or put in their own vehicles.

I have been a loyal customer to Marriot for many years and it is unfortunate that my latest experience at the Marriot in Miami Dadeland will no longer have me as a customer. I stayed for two nights there, two rooms, and in one of them there were bed bugs. I went to complain to the manager that my mother was attacked and asked to speak with them but was told she was in a meeting. I called three times later that day and was still not transferred to the manager. I even called the following days and was still not given a manager to speak with. When I told the lady, "Elizabeth Jones," how furious I was and that there's no way this is acceptable, she simply said that this was a courtesy call on their behalf. They told me that they need to bring the experts in to see if there are bed bugs, and of course I said that's fine if that's your procedure. I get a call saying that they didn't find anything, which is ridiculous because I have the doctors notes that prove it was in fact bed bugs. They said they will not compensate me in any way and this is as far as they're taking it. I have been a Marriot customer for years and years, I wouldn't complain about a two night stay if I wasn't certain if it was bed bugs. Based off my Marriot Rewards, they can see from my records that I've never made a complaint before and how many times I've stayed at their hotel. This is absolutely ridiculous and this is not how you treat your loyal customers. The front desk lady had the audacity to even say "you should have called house keeping." When I asked her that "so basically you don't care if you lose us as customers?", her reply was, "okay." Never have I been so upset about my stay at a hotel. I even had to take my mother to a hotel when we got back home because of the bed bug situation to avoid bringing it back home. I had to pay for the extra hotel and medical bills. I even told them at the Marriot Dadeland that I'd be more than happy to show the pictures and the doctors notes that prove these were bedbugs, but they didn't care to see them. When I said that I have no proof from their end that they even brought in the experts to check the room, they didn't send me anything, they were just silent, no response. Until this day, I have not spoken with the Manager or Director even though I have requested numerous times to speak with them. It is my right as a customer to speak with a manager and to prove my side of the story. My family and I are extremely disappointed.

DO NOT STAY HERE!!!..You will be sorry. Made reservation for four people and was guarantee 1 king bed and a sofa pull out bed. After driving 5 hours we get to the dumpy disgusting room with worn out dirty stained carpet that smelled like old cheese what did we see..1 bed..are you kidding me 1 bed for four adults.What happened to my king and pull out. Went down to the desk and I get sorry sir we overbooked its really busy. One thing is to screw up my reservation but dirty smelly rooms is another. Thanks for the memories Marriott never again!

Estas a 20 min. de la mayoría de cosas interesantes en Miami. Recomiendo la cafetería Deli del 2do. piso, si bien las habitaciones son cómodas es caro para los servicios que no incluyen películas +/- 15 usd estacionamiento +/- 19 usd / noche. la estación del metro esta a 20 pasos.
