The Bistro is the midway point, both in price and food, of the Bleeding Heart's various eating spaces. The food is excellent and well-priced for what you get, and they have a good wine list - I think they may have a relationship with a New Zealand vineyard because that's usually what they'll recommend, but I've never had a glass that wasn't good. Staff are all French, which adds to the ambience, and everyone is helpful and quick, even at busy times. For a really special occasion cross the courtyard to the restaurant itself, but if you just want a good meal in attractive surroundings the Bistro is the place to go.

Went here for the London Restaurant Festival menu, which was great value at £30 for 3 courses. The restaurant looks amazing, the service was faultless and the food was great. Lamb main course was excellent, as were the mashed potatoes.

A beautiful and romantic french restuarant near Farringdon station. Set beneath Bleeding Heart Yard and with a lavish history, the resaurant serves incredible food. On my visit I had the suckling pig which I highly recommend. The service is freindly and professional and the desserts are to die for.

I took a group of 10 there few weeks ago for lunch. The French staff is amazing, One person does not like pepper and thought he saw a grain of pepper on his tuna. The maitre-D was wonderful and made a whole new salade Niçoise with a generous steak of fresh tuna himself.

Some good food. Don't miss their french mustard - it's to die for - literally. Pea soup was good. Considering that this is french place there were enough veggie choices. Decent selection of wines. This place can get noisy but a nice quaint place - eat, drink, chat and repeat.
