It’s time for this week's travel tip: Ton de Rooy from Robin Pope Safaris says: ‘Contrary to what many think, the Emerald Season (lasting from November to April) is a spectacular time to go on safari. The dramatic downpours of plump raindrops refresh the Zambian landscape and it bursts into a photogenic palette of rich greens, the impala drop their young, the birdwatching is brilliant, and the parks are much less crowded than other times of year. It doesn’t hurt that rates are also lower in this season.'

It’s time for this week’s travel tip. Peter Hancock, Chief Executive of Pride of Britain Hotels says: ‘Staying in any room at a luxury hotel is a treat, but for extra privacy, why not try staying in one of the cottages found within the grounds of several Pride of Britain Hotels. These include Barnsley House in the Cotswolds, The Grove at Narberth in Pembrokeshire, Bodysgallen Hall near Llandudno, Eastwell Manor in Kent, Bovey Castle in Dartmoor, Holbeck Ghyll in the Lake District and The Torridon in the Scottish Highlands."

Here's this week's 'TEAM TRAVEL TIP & TALE' from Becky: “This summer, I visited the breathtaking country of Myanmar. The country’s secluded beaches, enchanting fishing villages, ancient temples, friendly locals and colourful cultures are completely eye-opening. I wandered the dusty paths of villages, thinking I’d stepped back in time – horse-drawn carriages are a frequent form of transportation and it seemed as though some of the local children had never seen a Western girl in their lives! However, with newly relaxed border restrictions, this culture-rich destination will soon be drowned by the tsunami of budget backpackers...so if you’ve always wanted to say “I was there before all of those hotels”, now is the time to go.
