Very classy and romantic in a library kind of way. Unfortunately a bit pricy and cheesecake was frozen though.

This is a really cute/cozy place to meet up for a drink. They have a decent selection of wine/spirits and the room is set up for private conversations. Just don't eat there. I made the mistake of going hungry, having two drinks, and thus necessitating ordering food. Why did you serve me Ellio's pizza, Beekman Bar and Books? Why god why? Drinks 4 stars; food -3 stars; ambiance 5 stars. I can't do math, but I decided that came out to three stars.

A quiet and classy bar with an amazing selection of Scotch. Enjoy your drink while watching James Bond movies, and intermittently sneak off to the cigar room.

I am a native New Yorker and will keep to the directness of how we are known to be :) Food: Very limited menu. Drinks: Excellent!! Large scotch selection. Space: One of the few cigar bars in NYC. It is a very elegant, upscale, yet laid-back cigar bar. Very intimate layout, leather lounge chairs, & a fireplace. Good for date nights or get-togethers. Scene: Pick-up scene. Great after-work crowd! Crowd: 30-60s Mostly men, professional, corporate types and locals. Service: Excellent!

Low key atmosphere, with books lining the shelves and James Bond movies playing in the background. Great place for a drink where you can actually hold a conversation too.
