If you have fussy feet, read on....
It never dawned on me until just now, that the APMA (American Podiatric Medical Association) is now bothering to keep an up-to-date list of all footwear (and related products) to which they have given their "seal of acceptance," which means that they "allow for normal foot function." <http://www.apma.org/MainMenu/RecommendedProducts/SealofAcceptance/Products-by-Category.aspx#FOOTWEAR
They list by brand, and then specific models within the brand that meet their approval. I do understand that they need to be conservative in their assessment, but I do wish they would include the shoes at <www.vibramfivefingers.com
> on their good list.
I just stumbled across this realization that the APMA keeps a list because I yesterday purchased a pair of "Clarks'.wave" shoes. I had been ambivalent about Clarks for a while. I had been happy with their workmanship, always, but a little disappointed with the awkward foot motion in some of their loafer-type shoes. But these new "waves" are great for me.
