Do you know an O'Brien? If so please share!
Celebrate 1,000 Years of Clan Stories!

Will you help us document the story of the O'Brien clan?   We are collecting stories from around the globe to celebrate our upcoming Millennial milestone in April.   All YOU have to do is click the link below to read other O'Brien stories and add your own!

http://weeva.co/project/obrien-clan

Add a story to any (or all) of these Tapestries...

History (Yours and Ours) - Capturing the "True" history of the clan as seen through your eyes.

Craic -   Capture your most outrageous fun stories about the clan!  We wouldn't be surprised if more than a few were created at the millennial celebration itself!

Places -  Our name graces towns, cities, buildings and landmarks all over the world.  Tell us about your favorite places.  Better still, snap a picture and add it.

Tales of (and for) Brian Boru - Stories about Ireland's Royal Family.

Faces - Does the clan have a distinctive look?   if so, come show it! Share your pictures.

Artistry - Did we produce writers?  Authors?  Dancers?  Painters? Musicians?   Surely in a thousand years, we've produced them all!  Come tell us all about your favorites!

Heroics -   Tales of O'Brien bravery, excellence and prowess

Stories will be collected, edited, and published in an heirloom book; a keepsake for you and your family.

We all know the power of stories, but did you know that as you listen to a story your brain activity changes to align with the storyteller's?

"The team recorded the pattern of one person's brain activity as she told a vivid personal story. Then someone else listened to the story on tape, and they recorded his brain activity. The two brain patterns showed a remarkable degree of correlation. The storyteller had literally gotten in to the listener's brain and altered it in predictable ways. But more than that, she had made the listener's brain match her own. The more tightly coupled the brains became, the more the listener said that he understood the story."
