Sacred Grinds is the only café in the Mid-City Necropolis! Please do not feed the zombies as you enjoy a cup of joe on our back porch overlooking the cemetery, as our coffee is known to wake the dead.

Neat place. I would stay longer if they had indoor seating with AC. But I can be a bit snobby in this hot weather. The coffee place is connected to an herbal shop. Plenty of options when it comes to baked goods and blends of coffee. I'd give it 4.5 to be fair. And staff is good and friendly.

A zombie themed coffee shop built on top of a NOLA style cemetery? YES PLEASE! The coffee is decent but doesn't blow one away. However the awesome staff make up for the lack of quality bean.

Tasty beverages, coffees, and teas. Some tasty snacks and baked goods (some of which are gluten free). Cool funky new-agey herb and smoke shop next door, and a beautiful outdoor patio with a view of the cemetery. Very cool mood. Also dog friendly!

The coffee was ok. The sweets left something to be desired. Maybe I had a bitter taste in my mouth from the very rude employee. BTW, I have never used a restroom in my life w/o purchasing something. I was going to order first, so my sister asked where the bathroom was. He replied in a snotty, hipster voice that she could order first. What a jerk. She really did need a bathroom or we would have left. Worst experience in an otherwise very cool city. Dude, hope three sheets of toilet paper were worth the bad reviews.

Sacred Grinds is awesome. Take the canal streetcar to the cemeteries. Have coffee on the back patio. Amongst the headstones. Staff is great. Coffee and drinks are great. Try the Mardi Gras king cake shake. It's delicious. It even has a plastic baby. The Elvis is also good. Peanut butter and banana shake. Grab a cup of coffee and wander through the cemeteries. Nice quiet experience.
