On our way home from a long day of activities. 2 yr old granddaughter was getting hungry, wife wanted a cup of coffee, I wanted a beer. Decided to try BJ's (for the first time). Never again. Two or three different menus listing a bunch of beers, (different prices depending on menu). Waitress was there before we even sat down asking us what we wanted to drink. I asked, "What are 'your' BJ beers?" She said "Session IPA and Barrell Aged Stout." (2 beers). When she found out only the baby was eating the service changed dramatically. They delivered my granddaughter's meal, luke warm broccoli and carrots and a microwaved cheeseburger coming in at 1200 degrees, (give or take), that looked like shoe leather with yellow plastic melted to it. Some guy (not our waitress), came by and all but threw it on our table without a word.

Beer is very good. Burgers are to die for. Little pricey, but the ambiance goes with the price.

Our Waitress was great. Very attentive, very nice. Beer was ehhh, ordered 3 pizzas. All 3 minis came out cold, undercooked, with no sauce at all. Mine was so undercooked the dough was still in the doughy stage. Needless to say the pizza was really bad, might have been the worst I have ever had at a restaurant ever. Not a fan, will not ever go back....

This is not about the food or the service since we didn't have a chance to enjoy them, but about the MANAGER! Yesterday (05/22/2014) we made a reservation to have dinner, the entire family went there (Desert Ridge, AZ location) to find out not that our table wasn't available. We waited for 30 min after which the host told us to wait for just 5 more min since our table was getting ready. Surprise! the party that was supposed to be leaving was still waiting to ORDER their dessert. We spoke with the manager and tried to explain the situation but he was EXTREMELY rude and constantly over talking us, the man didn't have one piece of courtesy or manners, he didn't listen nor offered an excuse for the issue, with the restaurant full, he simply implied "if you don't like it, you may leave". I cannot believe that a place like BJs will have such a person as a manager. Of course they will not close just because I am not returning to their place, but I wanted to let people know about this individual who should be working at McDonalds!

The quintessential brewhouse. The beer and alcohol selection is magnificent. Even hard to find Belgium beers for the true connoisseur. But the food is tremendous. Absolutely delicious. My wife does not drink alcohol but loves coming to BJ's for the amazing food. Try the Ahi Poke as a delicious appetizer. Browse the menu with confidence. I promise you will not be disappointed.

We went last week as a party of 3 and had great service. Went back tonight with a large party divided into three groups and had lousy service from the host desk attitude when we checked in all the way out to our inconvenienced servers. The wait want too bad for a Saturday night. Food was fantastic both times; however, they need to figure out how to better accommodate large parties without the big attitudes...they acted like they somehow were doing us the favor!

Horrible experience with hostess & management. They have no clue how to handle reservations and table assignment during busy periods. Large parties require 10 days in advance for reservation. If you show up they tell you the wait is 10 to 15 min. 45 minutes later they tell you it would be another 10 minutes... No apology from manager, just "If you want to wait fine, if not... leave" we left. We were not the only ones experiencing this issue.... Best of all, there were tables available, they just did not want to sit everyone as they did not want to "slam" the kitchen with orders

We had a server named Jessica that pretty much ruined our late night out. A few tips for this waitress would be get drinks within five minutes of customer arrival, get our silverware BEFORE the food gets to the table. When my tea is a light tint of brown and i say " it has no tea taste" don't just say " oh really... im sorry baby"... don't ever call me or any other customer baby if you ever plan on getting a tip of any sort, extremely disrespectful and demeaning. Then as we closed out she took our food without even asking if we need a box. She ignored us most the night I felt unwanted and disrespected. Food was good luckily.
