I will never ever stay there. The non-smoking room is full of smoking. I booked and paid the room with two beds and they give me a bed and a sofa bed and told me that's all they have. When I almost got cancelled, they give me another room with two beds. I don't understand why they don't give me the correct room at first place. Also, I booked two rooms together and end up with two room far away from each other and on the TWO different levels, in order to get to the other room i need to walk for 5 mins. After the housekeeper cleaned the room, he or she took all my towels, so when i come back to my room i got nothing for shower. They charged me for a crib, but only gave me a playard without any pillow or blanket. When I asked them for one, they gave me one with hairs all over it (hairs with different colors). I asked again, got another one with same issue. When i gave up with the blanket and asked for a duvet, they told me they don't have extra duvet. Luck for me, they finally found a blanket just came out from washer. That really made me wonder how often they wash their blankets. Overall, I will never ever stay there and I will told all my friends to not stay there. One more thing, the beds there is really uncomfortable, and i couldn't sleep.

horrible room and horrible service. The place this hotel locate is not convenience and if you want to take a walk , well you can't coz there's no place you can go unless you want to walk on the highway. Rooms are so small and smelly. It is so hot in the room, and if you want to open the window, there is no screen in the window. You can turn on the air condition, but it is so loud that you can't sleep. It said it includes a breakfast, but if you want a real breakfast you have to go to the ABC and pay on your own.

We stayed this hotel in February 2009. We were worried because some negative reviews. The only problem we had was to locate the switch on the wall for cooling or heating. Other than that, We very much enjoyed the experience there. The room was large and very clean, no stains/odours, etc. The bed was the best bed I have ever slept. The room had a full bath and new LCD TV. Coffee/tea Facilities were available in the room as was the free local calls. The hotel lobby and the rooms have wired or wireless internet access available. We loved the roast beef buffet and its service in the restaurant. The hotel staff were very helpful and friendly. They switched me to a room with whirled internet access, helped with directions, booked airport shuttle, etc. Overall, a very satisfied experience. Would definitely stay there again.

If you want to be treated with ZERO respect, than you've come to the right place. As soon as we walked into the front doors, the lady behind the desk was glaring at us. We normally wouldn't stop at such an over priced boring hotel, but we were tired and our feet were sore from travelling all day. We had taken the ferry and had been walking and hiking for around 6-7 hours. We just wanted to sleep and rest our feet before getting up and travelling again. I had called earlier to ask how much a room would cost, and she told me 99$. Once we asked for a room, she took my credit card and charged 109$ we asked as to why it cost more than we called, and she proceeded to tell us that if we would like, there is a motel down the road for about 20$ cheaper. My husband and I walked aside to talk about it, but decided we were too tired to walk anymore, and would just stay here. When we approached the desk again, we told her that we would like a room, and she said that she thinks we should just go to the motel down the road. My husband said kindly, no, I think we just want to stay here. She then told us that she thinks we should go. She told us that she had "concerns" and that she has the right to refuse service if she feels the need. We then left. I have NEVER felt so insulted in my entire life. I had tears in my eyes, and I couldn't figure out why we would not be allowed to stay in a less than satisfactory hotel. My husband and I are a young happy married couple, we both have very good jobs in Vancouver and was on a trip to the island for the first time in our lives. After we left, we had to walk for another hour until we found an amazing place, where we were treated with respect. The only thing that I can think of is that maybe we looked tired because of hiking and walking all day. We don't look mean or scary or dirty, or anything like that. I was APPALLED at the nerve of this lady and not only will I not recommend this hotel to people (we travel a lot, and have a lot of friends and family who travel as well) but I will actively make sure that nobody I know ever goes this hotel. Also, from what I saw, the lobby was outdated and quite dirty.

I'm in the room actually using the wireless connection that we've been told is restricted for small bandwith usage only !!!! plastic glasses , very unfriendly front desk attendant who even suggested us to go and try to find another hotel ! Because he didn't like my face ! hopefully the manager came in by the front door where i was parked and told the guy : it's ok they 've got a baby in the back of the car you can register him !!!!!!!!! we had the room because of my 2 years old baby boy tonight but we'll be gone tomorow and we'll never come back !!!
